Little girl looking up 'what's that mummy?' Mum dragging eyes away from phone 'I'm not sure, an octopus I think' eyes back to phone.. little girl looks back as they walk away. A most unimaginative explanation I thought, where are the kraken and pirate ship emojis when you need them 😉 Happy Saturday, take care and stay safe.. P.s. how those plastic tentacles stay pert in 40C s a mystery to me!

There is always something interesting to see in Perth.
ReplyDeleteWhat's it eating while it's up there? And what's it doing with the other three legs? These are the questions I need answering!
ReplyDelete...what a fabulous idea!
ReplyDeleteI still like them a lot,Grace! We are at 0˚C and sunny with fresh snow on the ground so it is a nice winter day. I've been for 1 walk and am just heading out for another.
ReplyDeleteThat is definitely an eye catcher. I imagine it they got the legs to move, the mother would have been frightened and taken her eyes off the phone. :)
ReplyDeleteInteresting sight, but phones spoil life as it used to be!! Hope all is well Diane
ReplyDeleteRelease the Kraken!
ReplyDeleteWow, I hope that little girl doesn't have nightmares about giant octopus invading the city.
ReplyDeleteThe poor little girl was not taken seriously. I think William Kendall is right. Release the Kraken.
ReplyDeleteI love this. Certainly something I would never see in my small town.
ReplyDeleteSomebody has a wonderful sense of humor!!
ReplyDeletePut down the phone Mom and Dad!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the other three arm is on the other side of building
ReplyDeleteHow disappointing that a child was interested in something artistic but her mother did not encourage her. Shades of the Leunig cartoon where the baby falls out of the pram and not noticed and alone and wishes he was as loved as the phone.
ReplyDeleteI certainly don't stay pert in 40 degree heat.
wow that is SO cool! wish we had something like that here. As for the phone, put it down I think and look around you aye?
ReplyDeleteOh, my goodness, Grace!
ReplyDeleteI am SO fed up with people being stuck to their cells, especially parents!!!
What a dumb Mum, she misses all about the cute age (and the girl has no Mum, really).
Well, when in Germany the bitumen breaks at 38C and yours doesn´t at 50C I do not wonder about the kraken standing the heat :-)
A happy Saturday to you, too, freezing our butts off again ;-)
Maybe they are glued with superglue …
ReplyDeleteJust kidding!
Wishing you a happy weekend, Grace! ✨
They are really funny!
ReplyDeleteMuito interessante.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço, bom fim-de-semana.
