I debated whether or not to use these shots.. they're not so clear. One of the conditions on entry with a
camera was that the lens could extend no longer than five centimeters,
therein lay my problem,
but I wanted to show the crowd in the Perth Arena on Sunday when we were there with my great niece and nephews for Disney on Ice hosted by Mickey and Minnie Mouse 😉
It was quite the spectacle, the young ones were entirely absorbed in the music and vision. It's the first time I've been in the arena for a while and considering it was such a big show it was thankfully well organized, sometimes big events like this can be a nightmare. The main thing was that the young members of my family had an excellent time, that's what it was all about. Happy Wednesday, take care and stay safe..
Yes, that would definitely keep the kids entertained!
ReplyDeleteNot having kids, I'll never know what it is about repeated viewings of Frozen that seem to drive parents bonkers.
...Mickey and Minnie sure do get around!
ReplyDeleteWow on a spectacular show! This is something we don't often see in warm South Africa. Thanks for sharing. Jo
ReplyDeleteI would have loved it I will never be too old for those sort of shows :-))) Enjoy the week Diane
ReplyDeleteAs a care worker for young people I've sat through lots of children's events and, if I'm honest, thoroughly enjoyed most of them.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen a skating show in years but they are spectacular!
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy watching the kids most of all!
ReplyDeleteWhile not sold out, there are a lot of people there. As you said, sometimes it is all about the kids.
ReplyDeleteWe had the Ice Follies and Ice Capades when we were young. Great shows for the kids.
ReplyDeleteThese are the most delightful and entertaining events a family can share. I even remember some of the highlights from the one I went to as a child and of course I had to continue the tradition. I can just imagine the little ones had a wonderful time!
ReplyDeleteIce shows are aways nice, especially for the children.
ReplyDelete5cm? did they check bags for tele-extenders? 2x and you have a medium telephoto.
It looks as if all the important characters were there, though I guess with the Disney franchise these days the cast has expanded considerably. I hope Mickey and Minnie never lose their top billing.
ReplyDeleteThese type of shows are always so much fun. Glad the little ones enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteWow, the place is packed already, Grace, sooo many people and still so much room! Oh, the "sacrifice" you give for the wee ones to have fun ;-)
ReplyDeleteNice and very interesting..
ReplyDeleteA wonderful show for the kids...and adults too.
ReplyDeleteOh that is nice to watch, never too old! I like it.
ReplyDeleteQuite a crowd! What a fun experience for everyone, both young and old. I find that some venues are never "old-hat" for those of us of a certain age!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots! Indoor photos can always be so tricky but you nailed them.

It's been a long time since I've seen a Disney on Ice show but, I remember enjoying it very much. You got some good shots here. I can clearly see Micky and Minnie and Donald and Goofy.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
