Reflections of Trinity Uniting Church nestled between the skyscrapers along St Georges Terrace. Also the outside seating and rouge umbrellas of Rosso Espresso reflected in it's own windows. Taken on Thursday, can you tell by the light how hot it was, definitely hat weather if strolling around taking pics.. guess who didn't have one on! I can't believe after living in a hot climate for most of my life I sometimes still forget to slip-slop-slap :) Sunburn isn't fun! Bon weekend, take care and stay safe..
The church architecture is quite appealing, Grace!
ReplyDeleteIt must have been blazing hot there. Here we are presently at -24C with wind chills up to -39C.
...I hate sunscreen!
ReplyDeleteWish you could share some of that heat right about now! Lather up, PDP.
ReplyDeleteMeilleurs vœux pour toi et ta famille, Grace. Merci de nous faire découvrir ta belle ville :)
ReplyDeleteThat glass facade is made for perfect reflections!
ReplyDeleteI love the church, Grace! It is -18˚C here with a wind chill of -29. William is a bit further north than me! It really hurts the face when you walk into the cold wind!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots, Grace!
ReplyDeleteSeesh! If I´d known about slip-slop-slap(-seek-slide) I now would not be allergic to the sun. I burned my scalp a dermatologist saw by just a couple of times being shortly outside in Australia without said hat in 1995!
Sing that song always, please - it´s so cute, and a seagull, too, awww...
You are especially good at reflection shots and this is one of your best! No, bikes shouldn't be in the foyer! And who would be out riding bikes in that weather, anyway? :) That's like driving a convertible in the rain!
ReplyDeleteWonderful summer shots Grace with some spectacular reflections. Your weather is way too hot for me. :) A lovely cool 4C
ReplyDeleteGreat reflection Grace. It can be very hot in your country I know, enjoy it and take care, go cycling but don't park in the foyer! :)
ReplyDeletethat is a great reflection...I love the red umbrellas!
ReplyDeleteVery nice reflections and a very interesting spot. From someone who's on a first name basis with the dermatologist: keep yourself protected. Melanoma's no fun and the rest of the sun damage gang is less terrifying but still a big bother.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful reflections Grace.
ReplyDeletewow beautiful reflections.
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend.
Gosto dos reflexos da primeira fotografia.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e bom fim-de-semana.

Great images Grace. Love the Sid videos. Have fun in the sun while I enjoy the snow. YEA! Sure beats the tropical heat of Florida.
ReplyDeleteThat first photo does have a "hot" look to it. And, I understand that kind of heat very well. I heard our news people mention yesterday that is was 12 degrees above normal here in Arizona. Not long after that, I got a push notice on phone from the NY Times saying that it could get to 100 degrees below zero (not a typo) over night on the east coast. I don't think there are normal weather conditions anywhere on our planet.
ReplyDeletevery refreshing reflection image - so summery easy-breezy. yeap, we got nasty, unexpected, sunburns on back of our hands cycling from Perth to Freemantle in November, on a overcast day. nothing else, just back of our hands (that looked like leather for months). I than realized why cyclist have those fingerless gloves.
ReplyDeleteWell it makes perfect sense that they aren't, but I'm betting some might think oh it's okay! Your city is just lovely, totally inspiring too. The architecture is rich in so many ways.
ReplyDeleteNicely captured reflections!
ReplyDeleteI really appreciate your professional approach. These are pieces of very useful information that will be of great use for me in future.
