If you can't be in awe of Mother Nature,
there's something wrong with you... Alex Trebek
Nothing does transition like Mother Nature. Earlier in the year I was hunting for the perfect small tree to give shade in my back garden. After much searching, in June I settled on a mature Gleditsia Sunburst. Being a deciduous tree, in winter mode, it looked very much like a big twig when first planted. July, August and September went by, the weather was warming up.. just when I was beginning to think perhaps I'd bought a dud I spotted un bud.. followed by many mini explosions of green and yellow!
... and now, the future promise of shade.. beaucoup de shade :) according to the link above, the Gleditsia can grow up to 8mts.. how did I not notice that! Going to have to show this one who's in charge :) Happy first of the month, take care and stay safe...
Awe, this sure does speak from the heart! We are ever so thankful for all the gifts of nature, lucky us!
