Nothing says welcome and have a fabulous Christmas in Perth more than a ginormous Xmas tree, blue skies and warm sunshine, especially if you are coming from the chilly Northern hemisphere! Every year I get the urge to change-up my traditional tree, I love this one but it may be a bit big for my wee house :) Snapped when picking up fellow bloggers arriving from Singapore at Terminal one, international arrivals, Perth Airport. Talk about big balls!! I'm glad I caught a passerby in the shot below so you can see the perspective. I've just looked back and noticed that this is my first nod to the festive season.. I'm very much looking forward to the excitement of two grandchildren and many adorable great nieces and nephews. Happy Wednesday, take care and stay safe...
I think it would feel very weird for us to have blue skies like this and high temperatures at Christmas :) The tree is original and eye-catching!
ReplyDeleteIt's gigantic Grace! I saw some beautiful Christmas decorations at the airport when we picked up our daughter, but didn't take photos :(
ReplyDeleteVery original tree! Arianna
ReplyDeleteThis is new, Grace, very unusual...
ReplyDeleteBig balls is right! Yikes! It's a good thing that one of those high up ones didn't fall on that lady's head! That is certainly the most creative version of a holiday tree that I've ever seen.
ReplyDelete...mighty BIG trunk!
ReplyDeleteThat sure is different Grace, I like it.
ReplyDeletenice! ew :)
ReplyDeleteNow that is an unusual tree. I can't image it being summertime during the holidays.
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your family feast. I survived 22 at Thanksgiving. we are headed to NC to be with two of our daughters this Christmas. Merry Christmas Grace.
Now that is clever and fun to see! Beautiful blue sky indeed too!
ReplyDeleteNope, doesn't look a thing like my Christmas tree this year. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhere's the snow? ;-))
ReplyDeleteI like this! Very creative!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant! I guess Christmas has always evolved...
ReplyDeletePretty cool, Grace. But, who was talking about big balls?
ReplyDeleteAnd I just thought, wait, looks familiar, Grace :-)
ReplyDeleteI love it but I'm glad you included the 2nd shot as I had no idea it was so big from the first photo!
ReplyDeleteI contend that this season is essentially a winter solstice celebration and is mostly about shopping, family, trees, decorations, etc. This tree fits in perfectly!
Happy Holidays, Grace!
Oh my! Greetings to visiting bloggers!
ReplyDeleteWow! It is huge.
ReplyDeleteThat's ummm....different.
ReplyDeleteUma bela e bem decorada árvore de Natal.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e continuação de boa semana.

That is a funny Christmas tree, I like this alternative! Bloggers from Signapore, that sounds good. Hope you show some pictures.
ReplyDeleteThat is huge! I'm so envious of the beautiful blue sky :-)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the time with the bloggers from Singapore, and your family...
That is big!
ReplyDeleteI've been photographing Christmas stuff, starting up a series by the weekend, if I'm not mistaken.
I love the tree...and I could certainly get used to blue skies and sandy beaches for Christmas!
