The Italian beauty above puts my petite Nespresso coffee machine in its place :) Madlilys has a well deserved reputation for good coffee, it's location in London Court the perfect place to people watch.. bonus!
On this early, quiet Sunday morning other things caught my eye. Spotted clustered around the security lights high up in the mock Tudor/Elizabethan eaves.. mass spider webs! Eeeeeew! I'm sure that whatever kind of freaky, horrid spider lives there you won't find them in actual 'ye olde England' :)
.. and below, kangaroo, crocodile, ostrich, emu or barramundi.. which do you prefer your accessories to made of? As for myself I prefer faux leather.. after all the photos I take of the kangaroos and joeys I don't think I could bring myself to wear one :)
Below, who has the best ... hair :) As for the 'waiting' part of the title, show you tomorrow. Sorry I haven't been around much, guess who's coming to stay on Saturday? Yup my super gorgeous granddaughter all the way from Sydney, yay! Lot's to prepare, catch up today. TGIF, have a good one, take care and stay safe..
Whatever spider spun those webs is the sort that'll be bigger than a basketball and likes to hide right behind your door.
ReplyDeleteThat's certainly a big coffee machine!
Either way, it's highly interesting and enjoyable looking in for us! Great photos.
ReplyDeleteOh good fun! And good on you about loving animals - not wearing them. Yes, blog land has seen some missing friends. . . . "Real Life" can be demanding at holiday time. how nice you are having sweet visitors!

Great captures as always, Grace!! No answers yet for my blog problems, but I will continue to visit and comment for as long as possible! I will miss the fun. Have a wonderful and very Merry Christmas and wonderful Happy New Year!!
ReplyDeleteNo leather , no spider ! Funny way to spend time , I like to stroll and Watch all around like this . The best way to see details.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week-end with your little one !
Pity the poor maintenance man who has to clear that mess away from the light.
ReplyDeleteOh that spider has made a mess!!
ReplyDeletePeople watching is one of life's greatest pleasures. :)
Lucky you that your little granddaughter is going to visit you! Take tons of photos!
Somebody needs to get up on a ladder with something that has a lot of suction to pull those squatter spiders out of there!
ReplyDeleteAnother delightful place in Perth. I would enjoy an early morning stroll there very much. Don't care for those yukky spider webs, though; wonder why someone doesn't clean them up. I think after the introduction re your granddaugher you'd better present us with her portrait soon! Have fun!
ReplyDeletePeople watching is always good fun - not spider watching though. Have a great time with your granddaughter - being a gran is the Best Thing Ever!
ReplyDeleteThe spider webs would be good for Halloween! Looks like a great area.
ReplyDeleteI was at a Christmas party and everyone was leaving their shoes at the door as it was messy outside. Of the dozen pairs of shoes, 4 pairs were Blundstones! I could have been in Perth. ;-)
I wonder what Sir Walter Raleigh would make of a bling factory! Don't mind spiders myself and like real leather stuff so... I'm not sure which though!!!
ReplyDeleteChristmas with your baby, how wonderful is that?
Please ensure you keep your spiders over there sweetie....
ReplyDeleteHave a great time with your granddaughter.
ReplyDeleteThat is pretty disgusting up there. The merchant needs to send someone up at the end of a ladder.
ReplyDeleteHave fun with the bambino.
I agree with Jack. I like the last two photos too.
ReplyDeleteSpider theory one: Less likely, but the spiders like the warmth from the light.
ReplyDeleteSpider theory two: The light attracts insects which are then caught in the web and the spider pounces, just like they can fall on your face from your bedroom ceiling, and the spider then stuns the insect with its poisonous fangs and sucks out all of the nutritious goodness from the hapless little critter.
Wow. At first glance I thought it was the back of a small car.
ReplyDeleteSo much to see Grace. I think waiting has turned into watching.
ReplyDeleteAmazing the things you notice when you are waiting.
