In a location like Sorrento Quay Boardwalk where success depends heavily on the weather, small businesses come and go. While in the warmer spring, autumn and hot summer months it's one of the top fav destinations for tourists and locals alike, small enterprises must be able to survive the quieter winter months, my own personal favourite time :) I've been popping into Art Affair to check out their mix of fine and eclectic art ever since the marina opened..I'd say that was a success story if ever there was one! Happy weekend.. I'm hoping for a little bit of quiet and a big catch up, see you later :) p.s. how cool is the 'metal art esky' below, I can just see a couple of bottles of Margaret River chardonnay resting in there!

ReplyDeleteA cool bus it is.
ReplyDeleteIt looks marvelously eclectic!
ReplyDeleteI love shops like these! They are fun and eclectic indeed!! Hope you have a wonderful weekend, Grace!! Enjoy -- camera in hand, of course!!
ReplyDeleteça donne vraiment envie de faire du shopping dans cette boutique... Sur la première photo dans les petits cadres on dirait des vues parisiennes ou hollandaises
ReplyDeleteYou have so much on offer to photograph. This look such a fun place.
ReplyDeleteOz family living in China are here for Christmas. That is going to cramp my already flagging blog posting. Time will be gobbled up for sure. Just had a look through your shots for the week...I don't know how you do it. Well done.
Perth has so many unique shops!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I am just so impressed with that old VW bus too, they always catch my attention!
ReplyDeleteInteresting art in the first picture.
ReplyDeleteGreetings,
Filip
Looks like a 'happy' place, Grace!
ReplyDeleteI would like Art Affair very much. Such an eclectic collection! In the first shot, I really like the girl with the big hat although from this angle it looks like she's holding up her face with her left hand! :)
ReplyDeleteThe metal stuff in the second shot is what I grew up with and what our kids grew up with. That's why my key ring says "Antique Person."
Oh, I remember the Coppertone ad. At least it was in colour. The esky is brill. I hope people know what an esky is?
ReplyDeleteThat is nice to stroll around there, I can see the bottles there too!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun place to explore! Enjoy your weekend Grace.
ReplyDeleteUsed to drop in a few years ago - gets too crowded these days. Have a good W/E, Gracie & take care.
ReplyDeleteLove that bug bus ice cooler.
ReplyDeleteNo use for an esky over here this morning...brrrr!
ReplyDeleteIt makes your sunny images all the more welcome.
Looks like a wonderful shop to explore. Love that esky, very cute.
ReplyDeleteThis would make me venture in. Unlike my post today.
ReplyDeleteThat window alone would draw me in.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun mix of stuff! I'm sure I'd find something irresistible there. Good this shop is not nearby! ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove the bottom shot and its colours. Clearly remember the Coppertone ad. :-)
ReplyDeleteAren't independent stores like this interesting? I would like it.
ReplyDeleteThat's definitely eclectic and a photographer's heaven!
ReplyDeleteI like the fish sculpture and the peaceful bus :))
ReplyDeleteHow is your sunburn?
