Literally.. this is a million dollar view! The host venue for the art show on Sunday was a private residence in Mosman Park one of Perth's most exclusive suburbs.. imagine enjoying your morning coffee taking in this view, or stepping down...
... to the charming river side arbour below...
It was a little overcast on Sunday but this view would be spectacular whatever the weather n'est pas? (sorry Courtney).. below, glimpses over the Swan River to the city....
.. and a last shot looking back as we were leaving.. I don't know very much about the residence other than it is part of a subdivision of a property called the Coombe, is incredibly beautiful and has come a long way from the limestone cave the property was in the 1850's, it's situation now described as 'the incredibly steep and wealthy road known as 'the Coombe'.. still not my preferred choice if I ever win the lotto :) Happy middle of the working week, take care and stay safe...p.s. catch up today!
Amazing views, Grace. Wow!
ReplyDeleteNot bad but I'm sure not as elegant as your château.
ReplyDeleteRather nice, I have to say. Certainly worthy of your title and what fun to be able to visit! Lovely shots, Grace.
ReplyDeleteIt's such a treat to get a peek inside of someone else's house, Grace!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, this reminds me of the south of France, so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAmazing view for sure, Grace. Oh, but also not my style... A guy over here, btw, just won in 40 minutes half a million euro at "who wants to be a millionaire" yesterday!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots and beautiful views Grace. Thanks for showing us.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful portrayal of a truly 'des res' Grace :-)
ReplyDeleteI can't really wrap my mind around the notion of living in such a grand place. I guess you wouldn't have to worry about taxes if you afford such a residence, but I wouldn't be able to enjoy my coffee or the view thinking about what I'm gonna owe the powers-that-be! :) It is absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAs F. Scott Fitzgrerald pointed out, the rich are different from the rest of us. Their lives are mostly private behind layers of security so they are seldom seen, observed, or photographed. Looks like a convenient residence to anchor a yacht just down stairs. I'd like a sailboat to go with the house, please.
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to have a home with that view!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a view and what a fabulous house. I have to agree with Lowell, I can't imagine myself in such an expensive place. Oh what am I saying.....of course I can! :-)
ReplyDeleteFantastic view!
ReplyDeleteI was really enjoying reading your post today and seeing that beautiful location, until you mentioned the lottery. The MegaMillions drawing tonight has a prize of $146 million and I forgot to buy a ticket!
ReplyDeleteI could live there.
ReplyDeleteWow! Very magnificent Grace. Perth's answer to "The Great Gatsby" and the fictional town of "West Egg"!
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures, particularly the first,I really like the composition.
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize you were going to publish photos of my home! Oh well, it's okay...
ReplyDeleteWow! What a place... Nice photos!
Only one million?! Pfff :o)))
ReplyDeleteA bargain by London's standards. Expect to pay £30m + for that here.
ReplyDeleteBuona giornata :-)))
ReplyDeleteGreat views over the river! I don't like the stone finishing though...but beggars can't be choosers!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed feeling exclusive for a little while! Thanks. But I doubt I'd purchase a home there even if I could afford it. I bet it's windy there in winter.
ReplyDeletea million dollar view indeed-y!
ReplyDeleteYes! I think so, this is a million dollar view!
ReplyDeleteFirst shot is like a imaginative painting.
Good manipulation!
Thanks to post.
PS; Thanks to the registration to my blog.
I like the last shot....Oh would be nice to own....or just stay in....
ReplyDeleteYou have a nice week too...Janey
I can't imagine living in a house like that! I wouldn't mind staying there for a little while though.
ReplyDeleteA stunning view and a incredible house!
