Who doesn't love a good bubble.....!!

Happy days are here again...not sure how many parents would agree (couple there who look like they might have lost touch with their 'inner child') but however they feel, school holidays started this week. I must be one of the weird ones (plenty would agree haha!) but I actually loved school hols, not having that daily routine of uniforms, school lunches etc., just seeing what the day would bring. There are always so many things organized for kids today and I caught this guy at a local shopping centre keeping a huge crowd delighted with the biggest, amazingly shaped bubbles, something so simple but you can see by their faces that they were enthralled.....!!

  1. I never thought about you having school holidays at this time of year. We have 2 weeks of holidays at Christmas during the school year and then have July and August off. When do you have your breaks? Love that bubble!

  3. We have our main break at Christmas Red, then a couple of weeks at Easter, two weeks now and then if I remember correctly (it's been a while since my two were at school) two more later in the year before the main break at Christmas.

  6. There is a boy in the center in a red shirt who is in open-mouthed wonderment. Pretty cool.

Re your question, the river is at its regular level, around 4 feet above sea level, way below the walkways. It only gets above the walkways in the spring, when the average flood level is 20 feet.

I love the emotion that you've captured here.
