Bonjour Perth..

Market Square Park in Subiaco is such a pretty park, perfect spot for the Bonjour Perth 2018 festival.. so much français fun. The weather was a leeetle inclement first thing in the morning but cleared to une belle journée. French stripes and berets were the order of the day, I wore le stripes but saving le beret for next year :) We devoured Raclette over new potatoes, délicieux 💙 My favourite artiste français Tankateo was there also, parfait! Unfortunately we missed the French Bulldog parade, check out the petit sweetie here, too cute.. in a weird sort of way :) All in all a super afternoon, merci beaucoup Bonjour Perth, see you next year. Happy Thursday, take care and stay safe..

  14. How is it that you have a French festival? I know the French maritime presence was big in the 18th century and that many Australians are of French heritage. Is that why? Is it just because? In Greensboro, in June, we have a Parisian Promenade and a French Poodle Parade (all dogs encouraged to enter). Love the way you put all of those photos together. You really give us a feel for the event.

  18. mmmmm Raclette! The new posh grocery store in our town is doing a raclette tasting next weekend, trying to educate the peasants in the art of French food I think! I'll be there! Meanwhile, the French event in Perth looks like tons of fun.

  20. Thanks for the info. I'd guessed it right. It's about the same distance as from Florida to California (or vice versa)! :)
