Market Square Park in Subiaco is such a pretty park, perfect spot for the Bonjour Perth 2018 festival.. so much français fun. The weather was a leeetle inclement first thing in the morning but cleared to une belle journée. French stripes and berets were the order of the day, I wore le stripes but saving le beret for next year :) We devoured Raclette over new potatoes, délicieux 💙 My favourite artiste français Tankateo was there also, parfait! Unfortunately we missed the French Bulldog parade, check out the petit sweetie here, too cute.. in a weird sort of way :) All in all a super afternoon, merci beaucoup Bonjour Perth, see you next year. Happy Thursday, take care and stay safe..
It sounds like you had fun, and I see Aimee there!
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun, as usual, Grace. Love the collage!
ReplyDeleteViva Macron AND Macaroons!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI had a feeling that that is where you were! Such Fun!
ReplyDeleteFor someone like yourself, a slavish denizen of all things French, this must have been delirious fun! I just wish I could have been there. Next year in Perth is what I always say!
ReplyDeleteAha...now I know why you were having so much fun! What a great event especially for a lover all things French like you. I bet the food was delicious.
ReplyDeleteP.S. that bulldog was too cute.

ReplyDeleteIt looks like a really fun day out.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a grand old time. The dogs in the pool look like they're enjoying themselves too. A fun day for everyone!
ReplyDeleteThe foodtruck in an old "fourgon citroen", is the top. Even here in France it's hard to find one. it looks a little french fifties. If you want i can give you links to french film of this time !!! Anyway It certainly was a funny day. Ahlala !!!

ReplyDeleteAwww, Grayce, Raclette!!! So long ago that I had a dish (my Mum presented me with such a grill but since Ingo didn´t like it we gave it away.... big bu-huu!).
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had fun, oui :-)
That’s a very nice sign.

That looks fun Grace, so sunny and colourful event!
ReplyDeleteWhat a colourful gathering.
ReplyDeleteHow is it that you have a French festival? I know the French maritime presence was big in the 18th century and that many Australians are of French heritage. Is that why? Is it just because? In Greensboro, in June, we have a Parisian Promenade and a French Poodle Parade (all dogs encouraged to enter). Love the way you put all of those photos together. You really give us a feel for the event.

ReplyDeletemmmmm Raclette! The new posh grocery store in our town is doing a raclette tasting next weekend, trying to educate the peasants in the art of French food I think! I'll be there! Meanwhile, the French event in Perth looks like tons of fun.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun event, Grace ! Nice pics !
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info. I'd guessed it right. It's about the same distance as from Florida to California (or vice versa)! :)
