Subi randoms..

Often while exploring lanes in the city and suburbs I come across random pieces of unsigned art that I feel should get recognition for the work that goes into them. Found in Subiaco the paste-up above is intriguingly intricate.. a space invader or insect of the worldly kind.. who knows but meticulously done. The adapted crack in an old wall just made me smile, I mean, I would have been tempted to do the same :) Happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe..

  8. I like your discoveries, they're so interesting. Is that some kind of bison beside the vase, it reminds me of them. Or it could be paint peelings. :)

  9. That one in the top photo is pretty amazing. It does have an alien look to it. I love finding adaptations of flaws and cracks.

  12. Not great works of art but how much better that they are there, albeit perhaps not for long.

  13. What great finds! I can see the alien influences but that first one looks like it's patterned after bull kelp/seaweed to me. And I also see the bison with the base.

  17. The artist in me loves murals, and the 19th century soul in me prefers my buildings plain. Paradox. What to do?!
