Happiness is eating the end of a warm baguette on the way home from the boulangerie/baker.. we've all done it right :) Reflections in the window of Baguette Me Not on Hay Street in Subiaco. Baguettes, and so much more, served with a Franco-Vietnamese twist.. what's not to 💙 I've been having a lot few problems with my desk-top computer, sometimes it wins, sometimes I do, one of these days I'll show it who's boss.. I have a sneaky suspicion it already knows :) Happy weekend, take care and stay safe.. P.s. Love the colour along this section of Hay Street..
I'd find something inside that bakery to my liking!
ReplyDeleteVery colourful buildings and I love the name of the bakery :)
ReplyDeleteHope you're winning over your computer Grace! Have a nice weekend.
Nice picture. Have a good weekend with a tasteful baguette and maybe some croissant
ReplyDelete...catchy name!
ReplyDeleteNot much can beat the smell or taste of warm bread. Spread a little butter on it and....perfection.
ReplyDeletemmmm I love a warm toasted bagel... with butter or cream cheese and jam. Oh dear, now I'm really hungry.
ReplyDeleteWe get a fresh baguette every Sunday and there is never any that goes to waste! Good luck with the computer, Grace.
ReplyDeleteI love baguettes...Arianna
ReplyDeleteWith a name like that who could forget
ReplyDeleteyum warm fresh bread with loads of butter!
ReplyDeleteFreshly made bread is the best, the smell irresistible!
ReplyDeleteWhat a colourful photograph this is …
ReplyDeleteI'm sure I can smell the bread baking!
All the best Jan
Vietnamese make better baguettes than the French. Who would choose a bagel over a baguette!
ReplyDeleteFresh baguette? What's not to love?!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your computer. Remember: Software is irrelevant. Hardware can smell fear and it thrives on the user's impatience.
Hello Grace, since I stopped eating sugar (over 2 years ago) that didn't occur naturally in fruits and vegetables I haven't looked for a boulangerie in my little community. There might be one in Tarpon Springs since it has a large Greek population, however, probably would not be a good idea for me to go there :D :D :D I really fell in love with the one on the embarcadero in San Francisco, probably a good idea it's so far away. Sorry about your DTC, hope it feels better soon. My soul always thirsts for color, so your photo is much appreciated...Happy weekend from Baron and I
ReplyDeleteWhat a very cool name, Grace! :-) And, awwww, does it look so yummy, too!
ReplyDeleteFunny thing over here: My PC won. For a long time. Now... for no reason I am the winner. I did nothing but growl at it.
I also like the name of this place. And I love baguettes as does Lois Anne. On our 50th anniversary trip to Paris we ate mostly baguettes and wine for lunch and sometimes dinner. It was wonderful and the food and drink was wonderful. You're fortunate to have such a shop in your community!
ReplyDeleteAh technology problems. My husband dropped my iPhone today and now I have cracks in all four corners and a big one across the centre of the screen. It must have bounced on the cement to cause that much damage. Sigh.
ReplyDeletePity that it doesn't have that French appearance on the outside.
ReplyDeleteNice one :))
ReplyDeleteIt is a nice streetview, and a baquette I always love it :)
ReplyDeleteThe colours on the shops are cheerful!
ReplyDeleteGosto destas lojas.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e bom fim-de-semana.

ReplyDeleteTheir name is wonderful, and your capture with all that blue (my favorite color of course) is most lovely!
ReplyDeletemmmm bread in any form is my weakness!
ReplyDeleteLovely shot.
