There is isn't there! You can be frazzled as all heck but the minute you're surrounded by the leafy wonder of trees all is calm again. As you know I'm searching for the perfect tree for the back garden, taking time to choose because of multiple mistakes in the past :) There are several mature tree nurseries around Perth and yesterday we went to Ellenby Tree Farm in Gnangara, only 25 mins from home it feels like you're way out in the country..
... and there it was (below).. the perfect tree! Not sure if you can see it all that clearly here and bottom shot, it has the pink tag and perfect spread :) It's a Tipuana tree and the pink tag means that I was too late, it's been sold.. which after reading the info might have been a good thing, apparently it can grow to 30mt high.. but I love it and would have bought it in a Perth minute if it had been available :) Happy Thursday, take care and stay safe.. p.s. Aimee's descent down the QV1 building today, eek!
Beautiful colours in the leaves- the tree nursery certainly comes across as nice and orderly.
ReplyDeleteGood luck to Aimee!
Looks like a great getaway checking out the tree farm. Darn that little pink tag! Does this mean the search is still on for the perfect tree?
ReplyDeleteJe ne crois pas que ça existe, un arbre parfait, c'est comme un être humain parfait. Mais on peut toujours chercher et ça nous vaut de belles photos.
ReplyDeleteMerci
Amitiés.
Roger
I would love this place. Trees are very special. We don't have many in our yard now, but we did at our previous house here in Ocala. There are so many options at this tree farm, I would think you'd be able to find one that would work for you!
ReplyDeleteThe search continues! Good luck to Aimee!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like there are lots of trees to choose from but of course you have to have the right place for the right tree. Good luck in your search and good luck to Aimee. Maybe you could practice climbing on one of those trees :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colours...here is spring :) Arianna
ReplyDeleteI own a nursery and I'm often frazzled when surrounded by trees
ReplyDeleteTrees have a calming affect on me too! I love being near them. I love that tree you found. The shape is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Autumn colors and terrific captures as always!!! I'll be going home to Oregon in a couple of days after spending a month with my new and only grandchild and a precious little guy he is!! I loved every minute, but still can't wait to get home!! Hope your week is going well and more important, I hope you are doing well!!
ReplyDelete30 meters high, that could have been fun.
ReplyDeleteThat looks the perfect spot to find just the right tree. I still can't get used to things just now warming up here and almost the opposite is happening there.
ReplyDeleteOh Gosh I loved these country scenes, G. Not unlike the area where I am living
ReplyDeleteYou're so right trees are beautiful, I'm a great lover of olive trees...
ReplyDeleteI am not so keen on that tree. Good luck to Aimee. I'm sure you'll be at the bottom waiting.
ReplyDeleteGosh! I would need a truck.
ReplyDeleteIt is a nice tree Grace. I just know Aimee will do fine. Can't wait to hear all about it!
ReplyDeleteVery invasive, looks like the ones on my last Monday post! So glad you didn't get it. GO Aimee!!
ReplyDeleteNot only does it look like a nice nursery, it looks to be in a great place.
ReplyDeleteSuch a huge selection Grace. I would certainly need some advice to choose the right one.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you´re still treeless, Grace. 30m - oh, my! The perfect place for Aimee to hang out, huh? ;-)
ReplyDeleteTrees can grow very high up in years, be careful with buying. I wish you strength with of without looking at Aimee...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Grace. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI love autumn in any part of the world!
ReplyDeleteHow did it go for Aimee?
Enjoy the season change.
ReplyDelete(Today Oslo is warmer than Barcelona, and it is not bad here in Stavanger, either for a change. Wind but SUNNY.)
peaceful place.. cool ew
ReplyDeleteLove the variety.
ReplyDeleteSo many lovely colours in your photo's ...
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Gee, sorry that you missed it, Gracie. But the way I look at things is that, what happens is what was supposed to happen. You weren't supposed to have that tree. When you find the right one, you will know, and THAT is what is supposed to happen.
