Lovely spot to sit and ruminate :) To the right of where I was standing to take yesterdays shots Perry Lakes Reserve was looking green and lush after the rains we had last week, not enough though to make an impression on the two lakes within the reserve that were mostly dry...
... and to the left the Bendat Basketball Centre.. WA's state of the art basketball training facility opened in 2010. Check out the much better images of the interior and exterior than mine on the link.. So what's it to be? Hot and sweaty shooting hoops.. or daydreaming/reading/listening to the birds under the canopy of eucalyptus trees! One of those options seems so much more preferable to moi, bet you can't guess which :) Happy Thursday, take care and stay safe...
I would take being out in nature any day of the week.
ReplyDeleteIn younger days I used to play village cricket which gives you the best of both worlds.
ReplyDeleteI could stand to improve my 3-pointer. :-)
ReplyDeleteHorrid modern structure ruining the view shown in your fantastic pictures.
ReplyDeleteWhat sort of person plays basketball anyway if their not American?
Nature's got stunning colours...Arianna
ReplyDeleteNature is the place to be.
ReplyDeleteYou do some great architectural work in Perth. I think this is a wonderful structure. But, I shall join in the shade of the ol' oak (or whatever) tree. No sweaty loops for this old man!
ReplyDeleteI'll join you in the shade too, Grace!
