Tall ships and sumptuous feasts in the Dutch Trading Co..

Who doesn't love the romance and spectacle of the tall ships! Created here on a wall in The Dutch Trading Co. in Victoria Park by talented Perth based artist Bertie Louise. Stopping in for a quick coffee on Sunday morning just before the crush of lunch patrons our timing couldn't have been better to get a clear shot of these portrayals of a different era. The DTC is such a cool space and home to the 'craftiest of pints' :) You can see the mural tucked away there in the right corner below..

A bonus treat a little further in.. a second mural by the same artist titled 'The Golden Age'.. a lavish  feast.. love the quirky little detail of the 'ship in a bottle' to the right on the table :) How is it possible that I haven't spotted Bertie Louise's work before, will be on the lookout now! Happy Tuesday, take care and stay safe...
