Fatty Unicorn, Squark and Archie (love that name) are just three of the works painted earlier this year by Spanish artist Clara Fosca during Laneway Collective's 'North Perth Squishy Lane Project'. There were more geometrical 'pets of North Perth' by Clara but at the time I took these it was a little too squishy down that lane pour moi :) will definitely snap the rest next time I'm in Mount Lawley..
Hope you had/are having an excellent weekend.. happy Monday take care and stay safe...

Love the unicorn, not so sure about the signature.
ReplyDeleteSuch fun, G!
ReplyDeleteCool murals and they look good on that brick wall.
ReplyDeleteLove this trio! A unicorn has always been my favourite equine, followed by Mustang, Appaloosa, Arabian . .and the list continues. Wonderful murals!!

ReplyDeleteSomething of a whimsical mood to these, Grace.
ReplyDeleteThey are very nice and aptly named!
ReplyDeleteHow cool is that?!
ReplyDeleteThe art work on these animals is great, but I'm not sure about painting them on brick walls. The artist is highly talented.
ReplyDeleteAbout the orange car on my blog. It is a 1947-48 Mercury Convertible. They are highly collectable. Examples in good to excellent condition run between $30,000-$60,000 US, a bit rich for my blood. But you are correct that one would be terrific to cruise around in.
I think the unicorn is my favorite. Great pieces!
ReplyDeleteI like all of these, though the unicorn is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI like these, Grace! it is a holiday here tomorrow - for Queen Victoria's birthday so there will be fireworks and lots of events going on.
ReplyDeleteKind of nice if that is your taste in art, and interesting to see, but not my cup of tea.
ReplyDeleteHave Aimee and you seen the portal?
I took a photo of a mural yesterday and as I was walking away, I said to R, you know Grace always checks to see whose work the mural is and then finds out about them. I should do the same......next time.
ReplyDeleteI meant to say, I really like these geometric animals.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if she used the network of bricks to provide scale.
ReplyDeleteDistinctieve style here. I like it.
ReplyDeleteI own a Squark and an Archie. In pursuit of the ever elusive unicorn!

ReplyDeleteHappy murals.
