A few last shots from this year's Sculpture by the Sea on Cottesloe Beach. The location as always is spectacular, the artists couldn't wish for a more fabulous backdrop to show their creations. Not as many entries, not as big a crowd.. next year I predict it will be bigger and better than ever! Above reflections in the sculpture by Tasmanian artist Hugh McLachlan, more of his work HERE and full sculpture top left hand corner below. Although I haven't covered this event as well as previously it is still worth while embiggening the collages to see the work in more detail. Hope you are happy and well, take care and stay safe..

There's quite a variety of work that's included within the term "sculpture" and I like most of it. It must be great to view them all in such a wonderful setting.
ReplyDeleteIndeed a lot of great work here. Like these sculpture exhibitions in the public space and with such a background it simply can't go down. Thanks for showing us again.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. How we used to think of 'it will all be over in a couple of months'. Glad you got to see the sculptures.

ReplyDeleteGrace, thank you for sharing your photos of this wonderful Sculpture By The Sea. Love the reflections in your first shot. You are almost there. The yellow aircraft looks great, a de Haviland Tiger Moth. Not sure if this was art or just flew past, but it is art in any case.
ReplyDeleteInteresting.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
