Oh such fun with this sculpture :) Another piece from Sculpture by the Sea on Cottesloe Beach this year. Titled 'Monumental #1' it was created by Singaporean contemporary sculptor and installation artist Chee Kiong Yeo. Stretching up into the blue skies the super shiny stainless steel shapes generate a magnitude of reflections back along the pier..
With so many images of gloriously shiny ball-like spheres, the temptation to play was irresistible :) Happy weekend, take care and stay safe..

ReplyDeleteCool. It looks like a sculpture made from many lens balls thingies, like the one you bought.
ReplyDeleteIf artists continue to create these works of art then we can continue to surprise the world with our photographs. Good job.
