Biblical skies..

The heavy rain falling from the skies here on Sunday were the lead in to our coldest day so far this year on Monday, a mere 16C.. and it's not even officially winter yet! Back up to 20/23/24C for next few days before the rain returns at the weekend. I'm not complaining.. yet :) Happy Wednesday, take care and stay safe.. P.s. both shots straight out of camera within minutes, why the sky is so different in intensity in each is a mystery!

  1. Not the kind of skies I've come to expect from Perth! Our temperatures are very similar, about 16 today and gradually getting warmer for the weekend.

  4. The sky looks so big! 16˚C is not bad for winter. We are at 31˚C today and Friday we are only going up to 14˚C. Springtime in Canada!

  8. Dearest Grace,
Such low hanging biblical skies you see almost daily in The Netherlands...
Not so much here, it is open and very high and only when a tropical storm is coming up it looks dramatic.
    Hugs,
    Mariette

  9. Those skies look like they are about to dump a heavy amount of rain on you. A good winter storm for sure!

  10. Those clouds are dumping a heavy rain on the land. The moisture is often appreciated, but not the violence of a storm.

  12. It seems like Perth in winter is similar to what our weather is like the far north of NZ, not cold enough for snow.
