In the city yesterday.. coffee in The Coffee Club on William Street while waiting to meet Aimee for lunch presented the perfect opportunity to try my hand at a bit of street style photography, remember my last attempt on Melbourne Cup race day here. I missed so many golden opportunities though.. too slow on the draw :) I'll have to practice more! Happy Friday, take care and stay safe..
Looks like wonderful people...
ReplyDeleteQuite a head of hair on that waitress!
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job and I especially like that perky waitress with the head of hair!
ReplyDeleteyou have made us love Perth and her people!
ReplyDeleteI adore people pictures. That waitress is a cute little number, isn't she? Like the variety and diversity in your other photos.
ReplyDeleteSensational collection. Love it all.
ReplyDeleteHmmm...more of the waitress...
ReplyDeleteSubtitled 'back views in Perth'. Or perhaps, 'the hair colours of Perth'. For that you would need a daughter in shot to complete the colour range.
ReplyDeleteYou did well! So nice to see your photos.
ReplyDeleteNice job! I've been saving up some candid street shots to post soon. I don't do it often but it is fun when I do.
ReplyDeleteI think you did a great job!
ReplyDeleteExcellent only you know what you may have missed :-) Diane
ReplyDeleteGood streetphotography! Arianna
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. The word oblivious comes to mind, just people going about their daily lives.
ReplyDeleteInteresting people, lue hair, grey hair, always fun to look at other people!
ReplyDeleteLove that waitress. What hair! Your next assignment is to strike up a conversation with one of the people who interest you and after you develop a rapport, tell about your blog and ask if you can take a portrait photo.
ReplyDeleteYou have a great start on street photography. Love the waitress shot. She is working hard. I also like Jack's advice. He takes wonderful portraits.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a very interesting group of people.
ReplyDeleteNice clicks
ReplyDeleteLove it, Grace. Oh, how lucky is that waitress with her hair! And how straight her back is - made me sit up properly!
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried snapping on the street, I'm too worried about being challenged and told to put my camera away!
ReplyDeletei like these, especially the waitress...she looks very stylish!
ReplyDelete...I find it hard to be fast on the draw.
ReplyDeleteIt can be tough to do this. You should try shooting people face on, if they spot you just wave to them and give them a smile.
ReplyDeleteLovely shots! Strange hat the waitress is wearing.
ReplyDeleteLove the variety of street characters. The elegant lady in red and black looks as if she is waiting for a modelling interview.
ReplyDeleteThat waitress has one tiny waist!
