The heat index is somewhere between OMG and WTF! Seriously this isn't funny anymore, what a summer. The destination for the brave souls that do head out almost always revolves around water. I read a story in the news yesterday the headline stating that 'Perth city was deserted', I'd give my bottom dollar that shot was taken really early before anything was open, apart from that it was over 40 blooming degrees. Is anyone else sick to death of click-bait headlines. I'm pretty much over everything at the moment :) Hope you are happy and well, happy weekend, take care and stay safe..
While I don't want hot weather, I can see from your photos there are some benefits.
ReplyDeleteYes, the summers are getting hotter and hotter, with a few exceptions, like for us last year when it kept raining. But the general trend is towards warmer weather, and abnormal weather events
ReplyDelete...lovely, but it's the opposite here!
ReplyDeleteIt's showing off here too - but with 70+mph winds. On balance I think I prefer it to your heat which must be enough to make even Prince Andrew perspire a little!
ReplyDeleteCan't imagine your temperatures now, as it rains here the whole day already....
ReplyDeleteReal summer fun close at home. Nice.
ReplyDeleteToo hot indeed! Meanwhile here we go from feels like -28 C to +8 in 24 hours. Rain means flooding and a dropping temperature tonight has resulted in a flash freezing warning. Extremes are the way now. Our poor grandchildren!
ReplyDeleteThere seem to be extremes everywhere. We had 20 cm of snow last night and it is -11˚C this morning. Enough already.
ReplyDeleteWe got a bit of snow last night, it was a first for us. It's gone now and back to rain.
ReplyDeleteIt's minus twelve here at the moment, and we had another snowstorm in the night.
ReplyDeleteThe water looks perfect, I can see why it's popular.
ReplyDeleteYes we are getting too sophisticated to fall for clickbait! At a certain point I think one stops worrying about the silly parade and just lets it go on down the road. Free to choose our own fascinations and absorptions mon ami
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics :) Cold Weather here in India.
ReplyDeleteThat looks very attractive !
ReplyDeleteWe've had a string of her hot days indeed Grace. Far too hot to go to the beach for me. And to top it all, last Friday the air-con in our reception room at the clinic stopped functioning, and a week later none of the 3 repair men called have showed up! I presume they are far too busy installing new air-cons! Have a nice weekend Grace 😎
ReplyDeleteI was laughing at your heat index description, but you're right, it's really very serious. I'm not looking forward to summer, and trying to enjoy the cooler weather for as long as I can get it. Take care and stay cool!
ReplyDeleteNot funny while we are freezing here!! Roll on spring. Hope all is well Diane
ReplyDeleteIt still is snowy and winter out my window.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
You've got me thinking about the summer to come here in the desert.
ReplyDeleteSerious snow fall here last night. Followed by rain this morning. Traffic chaos non-stop. Ice everywhere, accidents all over the place. Stay cool Grace.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos and feelings.
ReplyDeleteI think I don’t remember what it’s like to be hot anymore. We now live in Finland in the middle of the snow.
Beautiful photographs.
ReplyDelete... meanwhile here in the UK we are having a series of bad storms!
All the best Jan
