Signs of the time..

We were in Mid Century Cafe and Collectibles in Yokine yesterday for lunch.. such a cool spot! The decor is retro all the way even the food and beverage menus had a classic retro touch. Loved the one above.. but I'll drink anything 😉

Another sign of the times below, this time not from the 50's, 60's or 70's but from the 2020's. You might have to embiggen the shot to see the SafeWA app (click link to see how it works) or if you don't have the app on your mobile you sign in the register, just in case you need to be contacted re Covid. So far so good! Happy Friday, take care and stay safe..

  3. Gee, what are those round black things?
I wonder how many people really don't know what they are because they have never seen or heard an LP.
    Gotta love the signs.

  7. Perth seems to do retro very well and it seems popular. I am amused watching quite old people use QR codes. By the time they stab their fingers at the popup link, it has gone and they have to start over, and please people, don't block walkways and passages when filling in your details.

  9. I´ll eat anything but seafood - not the point, I know, Grace 😉
Is that a fake "Nacker" in the last pic?
Ingo´s "little" Brother, now taller than Ingo, but younger than me, once got his finger stuck in a real nutcracker.
For quite a while the parents said: "Behave, or the Nacker will get you".
The Brother does not know I know this. Hmmmm... -self-control when I see both in one place 🤣

  13. What a great place. What if you eat everything AND drink everything? Well, not everything. I still don't drink coffee.
