There are so many Christmas markets in the lead up to the big day that even if I wanted to we wouldn't be able to make them all. Aimee and I did get to Fremantle on Saturday for the Made on the Left Christmas Market held under the magnificent tall Norfolk Island pines in Esplanade Park,in the background the Skyview Wheel.Work by local artists is always the most appealing to me and purchases were made :) 39C today.. such fun 😉 Happy Wednesday, take care and stay safe..
...this sure doesn't look like Christmas to me. I hope that you are planning for a health holiday!
ReplyDeleteReminds me of a farmers market in the summer. :) Enjoy the festive season, Grace.
ReplyDeleteI cannot imagine life at 39 C. Take care!
ReplyDeleteAll of the Christmas markets are closed here. It is a very hard time for artists and craftspeople here.
ReplyDeleteChristmas markets here are subdued this year.
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun. We are back in lock down mode.
ReplyDeleteWow, you are having some hot weather down there. Christmas markets are fun especially if there is local arts and foods involved.
ReplyDeleteDearest Grace,
ReplyDeleteOh, those Norfolk Island pines are indeed magnificent!
Thant and the blue sky, makes us long back to the tropical Christmas while living/working in Indonesia...
Hugs,
Mariette
While Christmas markets are attractive, I do not want to be out in public with the pandemic raging here. This may be a quiet Christmas.
ReplyDeleteStay cool.
ReplyDeleteI am so embarrassed that you spent so much money on my gift.
ReplyDeleteThis photo looks so warm and toasty :) I am missing those temps!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness that looks like quite the fun and oh so many local artists too! Just what the good Santa has ordered!
ReplyDeleteI usual hit the local Christmas market, and in my community they are indoors. So with covid I won't be going.
ReplyDeleteStay Safe and Coffee is on
No Christmas markets here. To dangerous. Who would have thought that.
ReplyDeleteIt is very hot at your place, here zero degrees this morning with fog....
ReplyDeleteVery few Christmas markets here this yea; one that did open in Nottingham had to close down after a few hours because there were too many people there - it could only happen in these Covid times.
ReplyDeleteDouble bonheur : un marché de noël avec des gens, et un noël au soleil !!!
ReplyDeleteAll Christmas markets cancelled around here, and that includes neighboring Germany... Sigh.
ReplyDeleteTotally forgot about the Made on the Left market...but this year I'm only buying gifts for the kiddies anyway. But it would have been fun to browse.
ReplyDeleteouch 39 degrees! :-o
ReplyDeleteYou are lucky, markets are difficult here in lockdown! Keep safe, Diane
ReplyDelete39, are you kidding me, Grace, ohhh, beautiful!!!!
ReplyDeleteMy neighbor couldn´t decide (despite he sat by the heating!) if hot tea or sparkling wine (we took both 😊).
Only good thing about "Corinna": Ingo cannot force me into that ferries wheel there!
So nice to see normal life happening SOMEWHERE! Can't wait for our new president!
ReplyDeleteI am not a fan of markets but one in the snow would appeal to me ... not 39C.
