Perth City taken from high up in Kings Park, in the foreground the freeway system heading North and South past the city centre. Not the best shot I've ever taken, but it's an emergency post haha! I thought tomorrow was the 1st of the month and had a theme day post all ready to go.. a day early. Ah well, happy Friday, hope that you're not as confused as I..Take care, and stay sane..I mean safe.....!!
Do not apologize. This is a super shot! And I think, in my case, you really did mean "stay sane." Or maybe it should be "get sane"! :-))
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming by our new blog!!!
Cities at night really do have their own magic. Terrific shot!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful to me! I'll take your 'emergency' shots anyday, haha. I'm a tad confused what day it is myself, but I do know Dec is coming up:)
ReplyDeleteA spectacular photo.
ReplyDeleteThe frantic activity in the big city.
A hug.
What a lovely picture. It's much bigger than I expected.
ReplyDeleteLove this night shot! Nice! I think it's pretty good:) Night shots are the hardest ones to take. I don't feel really prepared for the holidays yet....so I'm glad that it's NOT December 1st:)
ReplyDeleteAn awesome shot -- emergency or not!! The older I get the harder it is for me to keep track of time -- among other things!! I do love night shots though and this is a great example of why!! Hope you're ready for a great weekend!! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteStunning picture!
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful photo Grace!
ReplyDeleteWow, that's gorgeous Grace...... what is it about city skylines by night that gives me goose bumps?! Did you enjoy the scenes of ultra modern, neon-light clad Shanghai in Skyfall? ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove all the zooming lights of the traffic!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pic! Are there still the free "cats" (busses)? Loved the idea! (As so much else in Perth)
ReplyDeleteIts still a Bonza photo. I'll be back tomorrow to view your theme day post.
ReplyDeleteYou've captured the buzz of the city Grace.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, every night.
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful shot! I really do love night time shots of cities. There is just something about all those twinkling lights.
ReplyDeleteI think it's a great shot, Grace.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot.

J'aime beaucoup ces photos de nuit des grandes villes, et celle_ci, tu l'as très bien réussie!
ReplyDeleteI'd find it hard to live in a city. This photo pulls me two ways. I can see its beauty and yet, for me, a terror too.
ReplyDelete... I'll try same and stay out of traffic.
ReplyDeletethat's SANE!
ReplyDeleteA french writer wrote a book called : "c'est beau, une ville , la nuit" (A city is beautyful, at night). This beautyful pic makes me think about it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment. I*ve answered your question on my blog, but just in case you didn't see it: I use a Canon 500D with a zoom lens.
ReplyDeleteI really like this shot -- very cool. It looks like roads of gold lead to Perth! : ) So, I'm not alone with the 'ol 'emergency post'?! haha! Well done.
ReplyDeleteGosh, I wish I had a classy emergency shot like this to fall back on :). Well done.
ReplyDeleteMaybe not your best, Grace, but it's a splendid shot of the city with that color and composition!
