Foil for reflection.....
Walking down through Westralia Square off St. George's Terrace at the weekend I caught this reflection of the arched windows in the passage through to the Esplanade Railway Station in the glass facade of the Quadrant building on William Street. I'm happy that I remembered to take the below shot to show both sides of the story! The 'Q' building is the perfect milieu for reflections from so many angles, will have to look for a few more next time I'm in the city. Hope that your week is going well, it's certainly going fast! Take care and stay safe.....

ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I wish I could take shots like this...but my hands shake too much most of the time--my photos look like they were taken in an earthquake!
ReplyDeleteOh, so amazing! I love that first stunner - it almost looks like it's shimmering before your eyes (or the gateway to another dimension:)
ReplyDeleteThe first one didn't do my eyes much good! :)
ReplyDeleteI am also happy you took the second shot - that first one had my eyes watering!

Reflections like that looks so magical, Grace!
ReplyDeleteThat first shot looks like it's from a carnival fun house. Crazy effect on the eyeballs. Hope all's well.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you included that second picture to give me an idea of where all those lines in the reflection originated. It really is a perfect reflection.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot, Grace.
ReplyDeleteGosh Grace now that's just truly beautiful. Like it's really alive.
ReplyDeleteKnowing my luck, I'd walk right into those windows:) So pretty and blueeee....:)
ReplyDeleteWacky and imaginative shot. The top one reminds me of the big Picasso sculpture in downtown Chicago, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicago_Picasso.
