Seriously would I tell a fib! I took these two shots yesterday a few minutes apart, looking out to sea on the left the clouds were of biblical proportions, a quick swivel to the right and we have this scene below..it's school hols again in Perth and the marina was swarming with schoolkids eating chish and fips, oh yeh and 'wok in a box'.. there were even a few brave souls who, defying the weather were leaping off the jetty and swimming out to the lido. By the way those humongous clouds were all talk and not much action, I expected more from them! Is it really Friday already, that's a little bit scary right! Did this week fly by as quickly for you? Happy day, hope it's a good one, take care.....

Ein Wetterchen wie im Bilderbuch...
ReplyDeleteLieben Gruß und Sonnenschein
CL
Now there's a sky as I like them!
ReplyDeleteNice contrast! We see that here quite often actually, and it seems the demarcation line is usually right over my home. :D
ReplyDeletecan i re-start today? not the best day .. sigh .. lovely pix!
ReplyDeleteThey are amazing and we, too, have skies like this quite often (usually) -- just not recently???? Weird but lovely weather this fall, so far at least! Time does seem to really fly these days and the older I get, the faster it goes!!! Hope you have a happy, safe weekend, Grace!!!
ReplyDeleteThat first shot is a very brooding sky!
ReplyDeleteThese clouds are really scary!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, Grace, as always.
Those clouds are amazing. And they were just all talk and no action??
ReplyDeleteAmazing changes, the sky in the first shot is awesome!
ReplyDeleteThat is quite a dramatic sky. Too bad it didn't produce any positive results. Yes, the week is flying by but, I'm ready for the weekend.
ReplyDeleteVery special with the dark sky.
ReplyDeleteGreetings,
Filip
The first shot is frightful. Have a nice w.e. dear Grace.
ReplyDeleteA big hug from Italy
Erika
They are very pretty.....I love the darkness. Very threatening but also a nice catch:) I don't mind them for a couple days. After 3, I get depressed:) I love my sun.
ReplyDeleteinteresting colors and place, i like, wish i can go there 2
ReplyDeleteThe days seem to all zoom by!
ReplyDeleteTime flies always, it seems these days! That sky is absolutely dramatic in that first photo...amazing shot!
ReplyDeleteWoo, the sky looks like here!
ReplyDeleteWonderful ! Nearly no rain since Easter over here. Please have a good Friday.
ReplyDeleteIt's awesome Grace isn't it when you look one way and get a certain view and then the other and POW something else! Love these clouds. Wish there was something in them. Our clouds are empty too, and we need them full so badly.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend over there Grace. :)
It can't possibly be the end of the week already! It truly flew by. Love those crazy clouds and the very idea of people going about as if it were a sunny day by the water! Love both shots. Hope your weekend is looking sunny:)
ReplyDeleteIt seems we have ridiculous weather everywhere lately ! Sun, Rain, Flood can all happy within few hours in KL !!!!
ReplyDeleteWow - that first shot is amazing. The contrast between the storm clouds and the dark green of the water - shiver inducing!
ReplyDeleteFun when you can deceive people with weather photos.
ReplyDeleteGoosebumps and trumpets!

I do believe it! It's Wow! I think it would be more dramatic if you made it in black&white, yeah, it's just a thought. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is an amazing contrast in the sky.
ReplyDeleteJe remarque toujours que, selon les pays, les nuages sont différents. Chez toi, on dirait un épais édredon. Bien sûr, je préfère le ciel bleu!
ReplyDeleteBisous.
What a change!
ReplyDeleteStill beautiful!!
... and I thought Melbourne was known for experiencing four seasons in one day. I like the way the water reflects those threatening clouds. Very ominous.
ReplyDeletewow Impressive clouds! I don't like rainy days here in Luxembourg because once it starts...one or two weeks of rain!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful change in your pictures, it's very interesting!
Have a nice weekend,
Léia
All bark and no bite!
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful contrast - love those dramatic clouds.
ReplyDeleteThat is weird, I would have aspected a terrible downpour.
ReplyDeleteNice photographs, sky looks nice and threateningly. I am greeting
ReplyDeleteNow you see them now you don't. That is amazing.
ReplyDeleteAmazing sky on the top shot! Weather has been very unstable here too.
