ROA? You tell me.....
When Aimee and I were in the city a few days ago we were walking down Roe St. to cross the Horseshoe Bridge that would take us from Northbridge into the city centre. Aimee casually said 'oh by the way Mum I think there might be another one of the ROA murals along here' sure enough tucked away in a carpark (as is his usual preference) was this mural of a herd of wild horses disappearing into the horizon (headless!). At first I wasn't 100% sure it was a ROA, because of the writing but if you look at this cool short video you can see his style does deviate now and then to include different aspects into his works. What do you think a ROA or a wannabe!!. Have a happy and safe Thursday.....

Wow! What a fascinating mural! I love the horses! I'm not familiar with the artist, but I love what I've seen of his work! Terrific capture, Grace, as always!

Beautiful mural! Arianna
ReplyDeleteReally cool pictures!
ReplyDeleteThis one I like, but most of his other stuff leaves me cold. Does that suggest it's someone else? Who knows.
ReplyDeleteWhoever did it, it's cool
ReplyDeletehaven't a clue, but it's pretty darn good! love city wall murals, love horses running wild...great stuff!
ReplyDeletesuperbe dessin mural
ReplyDeleteThis is really wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI really like it but couldn't say if it is his or not, Grace!
ReplyDeleteIt is a very dramatic artistic representation. I've heard of the headless horseman but not of headless horses! As some others have already suggested, I cannot determine if this is legit or not...
ReplyDeleteWhat a great mural! I love this one...don't know the artist, of course, but the work is awesome! Isn't it fun when others get interested in your interests?
ReplyDeleteI'm intrigued by this mural. Horses' butts away!
ReplyDeleteThis takes "street art" to a whole new level... If it is a copy, I hope that more will adapt this great style... love it!
ReplyDeleteBises,

Oh, this is very nice indeed.
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing.
ReplyDeleteThat is nice art,- out to the people!:)
ReplyDeleteNot sure but I like the work- nice to see such subtle art rather than some of the bold and brash street art I often see locally.
ReplyDeletewhether it's an authentic ROA or not, it's still a marvelous thing to find in a car park, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteThis would make one want to drive off into the sunset.
ReplyDeleteROA . is he your Banksy?
ReplyDeleteI found a link to a tumblr site .. http://roaweb.tumblr.com/
ReplyDeletea few of the photos are labeled as being NYC .. but they're not in Manhattan ... they are in Brooklyn
ha, another Roa posting !!
ReplyDeletewhich pleases me of course
frankly I do not know but if I had to make a choice I would say wannabe !
I have found another one here in Brussels, there is a great one in Ghent apparently, but haven't caught it yet
so keep watching for it on http://whatisbelgium.blogspot.com
have a great day

This is fantastic, but I don't think it's ROA's. It's just too pretty, if you know what I mean. :-)
ReplyDeleteROA or not, it's a very beautiful mural.
