One for the 'ladies'.....!

I did also have a peek into the 'Gents' and am relieved (no pun intended) to say that although not quite as pretty, they're not half bad either..... Back in March I did a post about the Indiana Tearooms in Cottesloe and I mentioned how gorgeous the ladies room was, a few of you requested that the next time I was there I should take some pics, as I was there again on Friday with a friend je présente.. 'les dames'! The entrance has just the right amount of 'shabby chic' plus a sweet little stained glass panel, the carved cubicle doors look like something out of Arabian nights and in each one a different trompe-l'oeil mural, a column on each side of the mirrors add a classic touch! As much as I adore the decor, I appreciate even more the fact that they are super clean and smell divine, how much do we ladies enjoy that!! Happy Sunday, stay safe.....p.s. this one's for you Red.....

  2. Wonderful! There used to be a restaurant here in Little Italy and they had the most luxurious washroom with all kinds of lotions an creams and even panty hose. I remember the washroom more than I remember their food.

  6. It is lovely, though I am a little uncomfortable being in this room where I am definitely not welcome.

  9. I'd like a door like that on our master bathroom door here at home. It makes you want to go inside! Very nice.

  11. I am glad to hear that the men's room is upscale also, although I hope that the decor is not as feminine as the ladies' room.

  12. Elegant! Sorry I been so quiet these last couple weeks, I’ve been really ill (now finally diagnosed with Whooping Cough even though I was immunized) and have had another very rough week.

  15. Gotta love it! A boudoir! But you should have taken some pictures when you peeked into the "gents" so you could give us equal time.

  23. Beautiful bathroom. Inspiration for a future bathroom redo!

Regarding your Goldie Hawn comment, I agree that she was beautiful before the lip plumping.

  24. Haha, now I'm the toilet queen, right?!?! It's my privilege and honour!!! LOVE it that y'all think of me whenever a loo comes up - I'm so jealous of a) this FAAAABULOUS find - SO gorgeous; and b) its cleanliness!! Not quite the composting dunnys I've found more often than not ...

  25. The carved doors caught my attention, at first I even thought it was a screen. They're gorgeous and, absolutely, on the 1001 Nights mood.
