Inhale the future, exhale the past..

Meditation.. because some questions can't be answered by Google :)

While walking along beautiful Mullaloo Beach ten minutes from home last week we came upon a meditation group of around a hundred or more. The young lady above and below found her own spot facing into the soft breeze blowing in from the Indian Ocean, she appeared oblivious to those walking past her on either side, last shot. Do you meditate? I would love to but have great difficulty controlling the ever present thoughts streaming through my consciousness. I might find a class this year, I think there would be many benefits. Happy and peaceful Sunday, take care and stay safe..

  4. The beach must be a great place to be during the heat you are experiencing, Grace.

  5. Dear Grace, that lady certainly is focussed. As Bill says, music and chanting helps to still the mind. Be safe. Jo

  6. Ingo´s Brother talked me into buying a book on meditation.
I´m not calm enough, forget about that for me, Grace ;-)
That man has four kids and is the calmest person I know, he drives me nuts with that, LOL.

  7. I have a hard time shutting the mind off but would like to try it. A friend who is a yoga teacher could probably help me.

  10. Beautiful photos. I've taught meditation for nearly forty years and there definitely many people who get more stress relief and inner peace by Just Doing Something. Honestly sometimes I find it hard to just sit, too. But lol I also love meditation

  11. She looks quite peaceful. I'd have trouble with all the people around. Especially 100.
The one thing I do miss about Florida is just sitting on the beach alone watching out over the ocean, and yes, meditating (in a way) on any thought that'd come to mind and relaxing. I never got into the zen and chant stuff. My mind wanders too much.

  12. It would be nice to at times to think of nothing and just zone out but I could never do it if people were around.

  13. I do not meditate, but have nothing against it. It would be calming. I do relax in other ways. I would love to spend a day at the beach. Perhaps we could switch places for a day?

  14. Sometimes I think I should but, if you research a little online, you find there can be downsides. Haven't done it yet.

  15. I did learn a little about meditation once but now find I can relax my mind just as much by going on a long walk. It can however be extremely beneficial to many folk.

  17. I went until recently to a meditation group every Sat morning until my busy life got in the way. Like you, I have trouble taming my racing mind....but they tell you just to try and redirect your thoughts each time you drift back to being aware of your breathing. I do think meditation is a value tool.

  18. Years ago I went to a Yoga course in a close by community centre. We were lying on mats on a very dusty floor. It was very relaxing I must admit, but it ended after a few lessons without a follow up. Sometimes I still do some exercises I remember at home on my own dusty floor :)

  22. my husband and I have been married for about 7 yrs now. We were happily married with two kids, a boy and a girl. 3 months ago, I started to notice some strange behavior from him and a few weeks later I found out that my husband is seeing someone. He started coming home late from work, he hardly care about me or the kids anymore, Sometimes he goes out and doesn't even come back home for about 2-3 days. I did all I could to rectify this problem but all to no avail. I became very worried and needed help. As I was browsing through the Internet one day, I came across a website that suggested that Dr jeffrey can help solve marital problems, restore broken relationships and so on. So, I felt I should give him a try. I contacted him and he did a spell for me. Two days later, my husband came to me and apologized for the wrongs he did and promise never to do it again. Ever since then, everything has returned back to normal. I and my family are living together happily again.. All thanks to Dr jeffrey . If you need a spell caster that can cast a spell that truly works, I suggest you contact him. He will not disappoint you. This is his E-mail:
