Council reflections..

We visited Council House during Open House last month with the hope that part of the tour would include the 13th floor so that I could take some shots across the city from up high. No such luck, ground floor only.. unlucky 13 strikes again! Still an impressive foyer, seemed a shame not to take advantage of that super shiny floor, never miss an opportunity oui :)

Council House artwork.. et moi :)

The gorgeous pics below made me smile but were a bit puzzling. Steps to the foxtrot? The waltz? The bossa nova.. only kidding with that one :) If you look at the steps in the middle pic at one point, the woman presumably, is airborne! Any guesses? Hope you had/are having a good weekend, happy Monday, take care and stay safe..

  1. Nice roomy open place. Where is you sense of adventure...sneak up to the 13th and snap away. What's the worse that could happen? YOu'd get the boot; unless you could be arrested for trespassing.

  2. Lovely reflections. Not sure what those dances are, especially the one on the right. Salsa? The Monkey? Jitter Bug? Know it isn't the Tango.

  4. She doesn't look the kind of lady who could take flight unaided. By the look of the man's steps he must lift her - and staggers about a good bit before dumping her back on earth.

  11. Nice reflections.
No tango there, either. Hmmm. Woman: slide left. Man: do some showy steps from side to side? I like that series.

  12. My goodness, this place provided an abundance of reflective opportunities. The artwork in that last shot is very interesting. I'm not sure what it means but I like it.

  15. Bummer that you didn’t get higher up so you could take your pictures. Very modern first floor I like the pop of color. As for the dancers.....maybe another dancer can answer. 😊

  16. Never miss a shiny floor! :) Have no idea what the couple is dancing, don't hope the poor man has to lift her up :(

Though I don´t like Phil Collins he put it straight: I can´t dance (and I add: very sadly).

  19. What a pity, a year or two ago I visited Council House and they even showed us the Mayor's office. Intrigued about the "dance steps" :)
