Spot the redhead..!

It hardly seems possible that a year has passed since Aimee first participated in the Keep the Flame Alive flash dance. I almost missed this joyful event to raise funds for the Children's Leukemia & Cancer Research Foundation.. at the top end of St. George's Terrace glancing at my watch I realized I had exactly three minutes to get down and over to Forrest Place before it started.. I ran, hair flying all the way, thank goodness I was wearing sneakers :) I chose the shot above because it shows the General Post Office  c1923 and the Commonwealth Bank building c1933 both by John Smith Murdoch in the Beaux-Arts style both très impressive n'est-ce pas! Hope that your week has started well, take care... p.s. did you spot the redhead.. bit harder in the top shot :) p.p.s. isn't it fabulous to see so many jubilant young people.

  1. Ah, there she is! For a moment I was thinking it was like Where's Waldo.

Terrific shots, and quite a setting.

I find it odd that there are girls in the pic wearing dresses that don't look casual for the purpose!

  8. Wonderful! So good to see her. Glad you were able to make it. Would love to see what Gaia does in Perth.

  9. Spotted her in the first pic, am very proud of myself! :-) That's such a bright and sunny way to fundraise! The buildings look stern somehow, probably because it's so joyful!

  12. Aimee was easily spotted. There must be something distinctive about her. I guess the performance will be found on You Tube.

  13. I see her! You are right though, I couldn't find her in the top shot. It must be fun to take part in something like this.

  16. You are making me think of both the children's book, Where' Waldo and the Monty Python sketch Spot The Looney.
