Psychedelic eclipse x two!
Yesterday, alerted to the fact that we were experiencing a partial solar eclipse, an astronomical fact that somehow slipped under my radar :) I rushed home, tripod out, zoom lens on.. the results below I thought were a little eh! I wasn't going to bother posting this but after looking at the many shots posted online that were equally eh! I thought I might have a little fun with it.. a bit of double exposure here a touch of HDR there.. looks a little like the vision behind my eyes during a migraine :) Were you able to see any of the eclipse from your part of the world? Happy middle of the working week, take care and stay safe.....

Actually, we're having a little trouble seeing either the sun or the moon right now because of all the rain we're getting. :-(
ReplyDeleteCool! ♥
ReplyDeleteYour two pictures are fabulous! the first one should be framed and on a wall, like a great psychedelic painting!
ReplyDeleteNo solar eclipse here, at least this time...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, Grace, especially that one with the migraine :)
I hope you are feeling better...
Ah, I agree with Malyss!! They are fabulous indeed and that first one should definitely be framed and hung!! Hope your week is going well, Grace, it looks as though it is indeed!!!
ReplyDeleteSorry about your migraines, Grace, but you made me laugh now! :-)
ReplyDeleteI like what you've done with these, Grace!
ReplyDeleteGrace, that top shot is a work of art! No eclipse happening up here that I know of. It was probably night time here when it was happening down there.
ReplyDeleteI'm more of a "documentary" photographer, but I'm quite taken with your highly colored image. I agree with Malyss, get that one printed and hung. It is terrific.
ReplyDeleteLooks like taken on purpose, Grace :-)
ReplyDeleteCloudy all day over here, and cold...
No eclipse up here either! Wouldn't be able to see it through the rain anyway. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard anything about it here but I like the way you upgraded your photo!
ReplyDeleteFabulous work of art!!! A lemonade sort of solution!!!
ReplyDeleteArtísticas imágenes, sin duda.
ReplyDeleteBesos.
Great work !
ReplyDeleteHugs
Like, cosmic, man... I love it... But no eclipses here... just ellipses...
ReplyDeleteNice work, Grace. No eclipse here either.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't see it here as it was p......ersistently raining and had done so all day. Yours is a good photo.
ReplyDeleteWe got solid clouds and rain. You are getting good with those fancy sun shots.
ReplyDeleteNice shots. Lunar eclipses happen too late for me to capture.
ReplyDeleteMy my my! Isn't our good friend Grace becoming an artiste!
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful, Grace!
ReplyDeleteI love those colours Grace - well done, great pic! Joy x
ReplyDeleteWow! Looks like there was one of those coloured dust parties during the eclipse Grace. A bit of fun. Your second shot is quite sharp. Cheers J.
ReplyDeleteVery Creative Grace. We had a red moon last month.
ReplyDeleteDidn't know about the eclipse either. I love the colourful remix!
ReplyDeleteYou are a true artist! Love experimentation!!
ReplyDeleteThat is something a little different from you, Grace. You did a great job. Some of your observations do make me laugh. Hope you aren't having any more migraines! We missed out on the eclipse here.
ReplyDeleteIt's too wonderful treatment!!! Very artistic!!!
ReplyDeleteThe solar eclipse is mysterious, and two shots are also impressive.
Thanks to posts.
