As far as street art goes for the next nine days there could be no more exciting place to be than Perth. Organized by FORM, renowned artists from around the world have joined with our own fabulous Perth and eastern states talent to adorn laneways and buildings with their unique style of art. As a long time fan of both ROA above and Phlegm below it was a real thrill to watch them high up in the cherry pickers yesterday at the beginning of their creations...
Belgium born artist ROA and English artist Phlegm are known for the intricate detail in their work.. cannot wait to see how this scene below will look when I get back there later this morning, stay tuned. Hoping to catch many more artists at work in the next few days before I head off to Sydney, what I miss now will be waiting for me when I get back :) Happy weekend, take care and stay safe...
Wow! Very colourful, Grace!

ReplyDeleteWow! Talk about painting with a large brush.
ReplyDeleteSo exciting to see this art work begin to take shape. Thanks for sharing some of that excitement.
ReplyDeleteThat's amazing. And what is most interesting to me is how they get the scale right on that large of a project! Go Perth!
ReplyDeleteNow that's art!
ReplyDeleteThe blue head wear the artist is wearing seems to be a modern equivalent to the beret.
ReplyDeleteIt will be interesting to see this as it develops.
ReplyDeleteThat would be amazing to see these works unfold!
ReplyDeletePlease show how this project is completed.
ReplyDeleteEye-popping, but I don't understand how they lay out the figures on such a big wall. You may be about to show us.

ReplyDeleteI just read on another post that your first grandchild is late arriving. When that baby arrives you can paint the town RED!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun idea. I would have been there just to watch too... and taken a picture.
ReplyDeleteLooks a bit like a dancing alien. I do like the red!
ReplyDeleteLucky you, Grace! I would also love to watch this.
