A place to recover.....!

That sounds a little dramatic :) but you know how it is, however gentle your dentist is, having an extraction is still a slightly traumatic affair! In need of an equilibrium soothing sight we drove to Point Walter Reserve cafe to have coffee, sipped through a straw, and sit beside the Swan River for a while.. Even though it was a hot day you can see the water was choppy, sending wind surfers flying by so speedily that I missed them :). Looks like someone left their goggles behind!

Oh yes, and then there's always ice cream.. that helps a lot :) especially if it's a Ben & Jerry's New York Super Fudge Chunk.. try it, it's sooo good! Is it really Friday already, well here in Australia it is.. just! where did the week go? Happy Friday, take care.....

  13. Oh no, not an extraction - you have my sympathy Grace, but the consolation prize was quite wonderful wasn't it, although I can only imagine for I haven't seen an ice-cream like that in a long time so must be time for a Perth visit methinks! Joy x

  17. How many teeth do you have left now?

We were going to make banana splits with my niece. I went to the 711 for some vanilla ice cream. Freezer was full of Ben and Jerrys, many flavours, but none suitable for banana splits. I crossed the road to another shop. No ice cream at all, except for the type on a stick. No banana splits, just a drumstick to eat.

  24. I remember when I was eight years old and had to have my tonsils out. I was really worried about it until my parents said I could have all the ice cream I wanted afterwards. Well, that took all the worry away.
