Theme day - Mail Box - Seen better days

We were on our walk down the West Coast Highway this morning , I was on the prowl for an interesting mail box to photograph.  There are so many big grand houses along the coast road, with equally grand post boxes, but the most intriguing box to me was this one which has without doubt seen better days.  The house, not grand amidst it's neighbours, was definitely lived in and it started me wondering what the post man's thoughts were when he delivered the mail to this address. The 'no advertising material accepted' sign on the stump made me laugh, where would they put it!

This is my first Theme Day post where all CDPBs come together worldwide on the same topic: Click here to view thumbnails for all participants

  7. Amazingly Michael this is only about 30 minutes from the city, I must have passed it so many times and only really saw it this morning because I was looking. Wonder how much more I've missed.

Gabriel I love the drama in you photos.

Me, yeh it was kind of neat.

  11. Wonderful color and what a great eye you had to capture this pathetic little mailbox... just perfect for theme day! That angle combined with the sad little mailbox, the textures and depth of field... wonderful!

  13. Bingo! You dun good, girl.

Now, on the portal somewhere (you go search for it) there is a thread that will tell you what the choice for 1st June is. I have already set up an empty post for mine and included the line of code for the crawler. That fixes in my mind the photograph topic that I search for during the month. On the main screen of the portal - on the Left hand side - is the poll for the 4 choices for July.

And THAT is all your need to be a regular Theme Day player ...
