"Love the trees until their leaves fall off, then encourage them to try again next year"..

You have probably guessed by my new header shot that autumn has arrived at last.. second month into official autumn but better late than never 🍂 Not quite the full spectrum of colours yet but turning slowly in their own sweet time. After two days without leaving home at all it was so nice to have a walk around Hyde Park, the water in the lake is low, to be expected after a hot dry summer but the trees.. ahhh the trees, as magnificent as ever. Fingers crossed for my tree that I replanted a few weeks ago, it gets a daily pep talk and so much love that it has to survive.. what do you mean you don't talk to the trees :) Happy Friday, take care and stay safe.. P.s. Is anyone else losing track of what day it is :)

  1. Lovely!

When I'm not working it becomes easy to lose track of time.

  2. That place sure is a painting spelled to life Grace! It looks very relaxing and a great place to stop and breathe, which I can do there for hours without complaining! (I need my water bottle and a snack though)

  3. It certainly is nice to see these pics of trees and greenery. The days are turning warm here so there are more and more people heading out and not all of them are social distancing so you have to pick your walking routes carefully!

  6. Le printemps arrive et la liberté dans les parcs va nous manquer un moment, je pense bien à vous qui êtes certainement confiné aussi à la maison.
    Bonjour de Paris

Spring is coming and we will miss freedom in the parks for a moment, I am thinking of you who are certainly also confined to the house.

  11. I did lose track of days early this week but with visit Mother Thursday and Friday shopping, back on track. We've been having beautiful autumn weather and it kind of makes me all the sadder. Your photos are luscious and such beauty also makes me sad.

  12. Yes, Grace. I saw the beautiful ocean is gone!
As you know I do not like Autumn and Winter (in Germany). So glad Spring is here - if still too cold for my liking, shorts, forget it here! ;-)

  14. Yes me! All days are the same, nothing happens, nobody comes along. But thanks we have blogs to read about other worlds and people. Only they do live in the same circumstances as we....! But shared anguish is half anguish, is a wellknown proverb here!

  15. I love those huge trees! I wish I could walk in your park, it looks so delightful.
Yes one day merges into another. But I am staying positive, every day without a sniffle is a good day. And my family are all OK so far..... hooray!

  18. I love a situation of the first shot.
Now, whole world is tumultuous, but everybody hopes this quietness.

  20. I rarely see much autumn in my gardens until Late April and May. That person on the park bench had better watch out ... might get a fine, but perhaps things are more lenient in Perth.
