Reflections in the window of Crystal Reflections at Hillarys Boat Harbour. The marina is one of the top tourist spots in Perth and as locals we wouldn't normally dream of coming here at the weekend, way too busy. Yesterday this is how it looked.. I can honestly say I have never, not even on the coldest day in winter, seen the marina like this! I know there will be scenes like this all over the world, unbelievable times. On a side note.. I was strangely attracted to the bronze sculpture of Atlas above 😉 Happy Sunday, take care and stay extra safe.. P.s. we had a little rain yesterday and cool temps, was luvverly!
...these sure aren't busy times, take car and stay safe.
ReplyDeleteI just came back from a short walk and crossed a major street with not a car in sight. It is a strange world out there, Grace! Atlas may end up at your place in the future?
ReplyDeleteI was strangely attracted to the bronze statue of woman Justitia with her balance in hand. Is she blindfolded, I can't see!
ReplyDeleteThese empty shopping streets are here too ... and I so hope it won't be long ... I'm fed up!
Have a great Sunday, Grace! 🤗
Nice reflections. Empty here also, Grace.
ReplyDeleteI planned to go downtown and do some empty street photography until the wind increases making it too cold, 3C when it should be about 18C.
Stay safe & have a great week end.
Yup! Those are the same thoughts I had yesterday when I walked around Old Town Scottsdale. It really gives one a strange feeling. That Atlas is pretty nice!
ReplyDeleteI like the look of the store.
ReplyDeleteThe only people you see here are either grocery shopping or waiting to go in to the pharmacy for their prescriptions. It's so eerie looking.
ReplyDeleteYes, we do live in strange times. Lovely reflection. Perhaps you should return when the shop opens and buy that Atlas statue.
ReplyDeleteC'est étrange comme situation et angoissant. Sois prudente !
ReplyDeleteOh I would love that atlas sculpture on my living room :) Beautiful reflection my friend Grace! Happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteLooks very quite.
ReplyDeleteIf like here, today with some sunshine the beach paths were very busy with so many exercise walking and cycling.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of the tunnels are central station ... unbelievably empty.
ReplyDeleteGrace. Now I crave a Grill´d ;-)
ReplyDeleteBut it´s closed anyways...
We went to the city yesterday and I was shocked how many others did, too.
unreal,here it's the same.. ew
ReplyDeleteWe live in surreal times.
ReplyDeleteStrange to see the place so empty.
ReplyDeleteMy eye was more taken with the statue of Fortuna, and it's not all the money that interests me most. Poor old Atlas has certainly got the weight of the world on his shoulders.
ReplyDeleteIt is such a strange world we are living in at the moment. Everything looks so unreal, as if we are looking at a movie...
ReplyDeleteI do love reflections and you always magic up some great ones. Stay well and take care, Diane
ReplyDeleteThe first photo with the reflections is very interesting and pleasant to see.
ReplyDeleteGreat capture, so odd to see life as it is right now.
