Happy Easter.. let's go on a bear hunt!

We're going on a bear hunt,
We're going to catch a big one
I'm not scared
What a beautiful day!
One way of making a walk in the fresh air more fun for children during isolation in the corona crisis is a bear hunt, an idea taken from the popular children's book that has spread around the world. I'm sure you have seen them on your walks also. I snapped the cuties here on a short walk around my neighbourhood, brilliant to see so many getting into the spirit.. if you look carefully you will see my own proper Pooh bear sitting in my bedroom window. If you are still able to get out and have a walk why don't you see how many you can spot, I confess my inner child was alive and well :) Happy Easter, hopefully we will look back on this one with a new outlook and appreciative eyes. Take care and stay safe 💙

  1. We put bears in our windows and the grandkids and our daughter drove around looking for houses with bears showing. They really enjoyed it.

  12. Its not only for kids. We have bears in many units in our retirement village for the oldies to hunt for on their evening walk around the village. It's a great idea. Keep cool. I saw Perth's temp today 39°C.

  15. You found so many! I have my doubts a walk in our neighbourhoods would turn many up. It's been too wet to do much walking.

  16. Grace, your title made me laugh!
Every first week of September my old hometown celebrates Sehusafest, among it is the tale of a bear hunt. They always have a fake bear on a wagon that they drag through town.
One year a bear came out of the woods.
People called the police - Ingo´s Dad being one of the officers - and they certainly thought it´s a prank.
After the third person called they went to investigate. It was a real bear!!!! And he was not cute!
So... careful with bear hunts!! ;-)

A cute idea. But it will take years to come to Germany. No bear seen here...

A Happy, hoppy Easter to you xox

  23. Oh my what a sweet post you made for us. My most favorite which is hard with all these adorable cuties is the owl bear. What a riot of sweetness! Enjoy your Easter and your week ahead.
