The Blue Screen of Death..

While getting my post ready for tomorrow I was confronted with 'the blue screen of death' 😱 (Google it) too hard to  explain :) valiant efforts by P to fix the problem were to no avail.  So my desk top computer with all my photos will be heading in to be looked at by the experts today. Fingers crossed that it is fixable and I don't have to buy a new computer. Depending on which outcome I'll be back in business either  tomorrow, or whenever I get my old computer back. Despite the ANZAC Day services being cancelled yesterday because of the virus, all over the country Australians paid their respects in their own unique ways, was wonderful to see 💙 Happy Sunday, see you when I see you, take care and stay extra safe ..

  1. Ouch! You must have an old version of Windows. I didn't think that happened any more.

We stopped in Alice Springs during our one trip to Australia years ago and visited Anzac Hill. It was very moving..

  3. Bugger. I haven't seen the blue screen since about 1999 and I am surprised that it is still a blue screen.

  7. Oh Grace this is sad! I remember during my college days when the blue screen of death would appear right while I am taking my programming final exams, I nearly cried because I had to start from scratch at the second half of my time limit. I hope the files will be recovered Grace!

  12. I do wish you and your computer the best of successful luck, and no losses! It's good everyone did their own special part, I believe we can't let this change us, we just have to change our ways a bit, bend, twist, roll over whatever but keep our traditions, ceremonies and all those things important to us alive, just perhaps a bit different in celebrating! Take care stay safe.

  13. Oh that is bad news. I hope you get it back as good as new. I can relate to that kind of anxiety. I had a few computer problems over the weekend too. I was starting to get very nervous that I wouldn't be able to get to my photos.

  19. That's why I quit MicroCrud Windoze about 15 years ago. Linux Rules! and...no BSOD-Ever. Although trough my laziness I've lost drives that needed replaced.
