Earth Day.. better late than never.

I can't believe I let Earth Day 2020 slip by, I blame it on the renovations :) I am thrilled to say that the avenue of sugar gum trees above, aren't they glorious, in Guildford are heritage listed 💚 personally I think all trees that have survived to a great age and the avarice of man should be heritage listed. I love trees with a passion and have planted three new trees this year. Is Mother Earth breathing a sweet sigh of relief (excellent read) over the last few months, I would say yes to that! Happy Friday, take care and stay safe..

  2. I have never seen trees like this … They are gorgeous!
I think they are very old ... exactly like the giants that guard the way to heaven!
    Enjoy your weekend, Grace! 🤗

  3. I agree, a beautiful stand of trees. It was a quiet Earth Day here as well. We should just be thankful that with fewer cars on the roads the skies have cleared and pollution decreased. Happy Friday, Grace.

  7. Wow, so majestic! I think you're right. Mother Earth is getting a slight break. I wish we could find a way to continue the benefits without collapsing the economy.

  9. What a glorious avenue. I wonder if their tree roots cause problems.

  10. This is so refreshing. We live in a leafy suburb (picture of the neighborhood coming soon, I think) but being stuck inside is no substitute for a colonnade like this.

  11. Me too on the trees. I just love them. I feel like they are the wisest of us all 🌳🌲

  12. Yes, Grace, I do believe "Corinna" brings some good, too.
Mother Earth can take a deep, clean breath, people - most - are more friendly, and weeee, do I love the distance at the checkouts!!
That should be a forever one! I think Ingo hates to "protect" me each time usually at the checkout anyways ;-)

You would certainly at first cry, having seen all the trees ripped down on Jasper Alley here. But you would love they replaced them with "Teenage-trees" :-) Is it pollution the old ones had to go, I do not know.
    Some good in bad...
