Two's company three's a crowd..

Never has the expression 'two's company three's a crowd' been more relevant than it is today.. all over the world, unbelievable! On a walk along West Coast Drive and around Hillarys Boat Harbour yesterday the only time I saw more than two in a group was when it was a family. Keep it up Perth! How are you bearing up? Hopefully not too much longer, I'm taking the positive view :) Happy Wednesday, take care and stay safe..

  1. Hello Grace,
Nice shots of this beautiful location along the beach.
Very attractive to the people. It is good to see that everyone abides by the rules. Unfortunately, this is not done everywhere.
I wish you all the best!!

    Greetings, Marco

  3. Beautiful area.
We must keep our distance though. It is working.

  4. Most people here're doing the right thing, Grace. I am tired of lining up to get into grocery stores and then to get out of them. I'm also tired of walking down the street and having to be aware of avoiding getting too near to anyone. There seems to be no relaxing walks anymore. The best times are out on my own deck! ;-)

  5. Oh I love these scenes that you captured for us Grace! You have no idea how your photos and walks make me sane on this lockdown! But yes, distance should be strictly observed still! Sending hugs to Perth!

  8. These are strange times, and social distancing is one way to avoiding this pandemic. It keeps the virus from community spread. Stay safe, Grace.

  9. When you see people, the first thought that comes to mind, social distancing and are they doing it.

  11. It’s the same here. We are doing well. Just 25 cases, all travel related, 23 recovered. No deaths. We persevere.

  12. I've been noticing the same thing especially on my walks. I never see groups larger than two when I'm out. I'm looking forward to the end of this too. I'm just not sure what that's going to look like.

  14. It looks fairly quiet. I wonder if people are allowed to lie on the grass. I don't think that is allowed here.

  15. I really like the light on the top photo, and the feeling of calm that comes out of it. Both of them seem to be leaning over their smartphone. A perfect picture of the times we live in

  16. It must help that it's sunny and cheerful. Chilly early spring and overcast here suppresses the mood.

BTW, American Airlines, where we have all our points, made some coronavirus-related changes to their award system that might - maybe - make it possible for us to get back to Oz in 2021. Is it expensive to fly from Sydney to PERTH?

But your beautiful pics warmed me up, still frickin´ cold here.

  24. I miss going to restaurants and museums, but much of my life is unchanged. Well, except for shopping. It is a huge challenge.

  25. I think most of us are doing our best with social distancing and are lucky to be able to enjoy our wonderful outdoors. I too choose to be positive, and hope we'll be back to normal soon :)
