It's the old which came first the chicken or the egg conundrum! I'm not sure which came first the paste-up of the hungry bee pleading for plant sustenance or the ironically flowery mural below? Did the mural artist even notice the plea! You can see in the two shots below how tiny the paste-up, to the right of the door, is. In the last shot which I took first I didn't even realise it was there! Neither were signed but it's a plea worth mentioning and one that I personally heeded, planting two new flowers over the weekend.. in the rain! The change-over to Windows 10 went remarkably smoothly I thought, although the 'Grace you're a nightmare' comments from P might be an indication that it wasn't as smooth for him :) Happy Monday, take care and stay safe..
Quite a mural!
ReplyDeleteNice mural and great eyes in seeing the small paste-up. It took me a few long minutes to even see it but finally did.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful mural and important message. Bees are having a hard time to survive here too and a lot is done. Planting flowers that attract bees is a good thing!
ReplyDeleteThe first mural is thought-provoking ! Glad your transition to Windows 10 went smoothly.
ReplyDeleteSmart art... really love it

...where would we be without bees?
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to please the bees, my plantings have begun! Great murals indeed, enjoy your week.
ReplyDeleteSuch a huge colourful project. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI am all for the bees! I have been planting flowers a plenty!
ReplyDeleteThe mural is a big improvement to a blank wall.
ReplyDeleteI wish we had murel here our town have one I believe.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on
A nice mural and I love that little paste-up. The bees need all the help they can get!
ReplyDeleteMy contacts are pretty dry by this hour but I can't find the little sign in the wider shots. But what on earth is that big thing on the right side of the roof?
ReplyDeleteGreat mural Grace. I also have lots of plants in my garden that the bees love!
ReplyDeleteUm belo mural.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e boa semana.

So you took the plunge to Windows 10, I still haven't... Pretty murals, good you planted some new ones.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful and huge mural, Grace !
ReplyDeleteI needed all my skills to find that small paste-up :)
Poor bee...I'm coming with a lot of flowers! Arianna
ReplyDeleteAwww, how sad the bee looks, Grace! Clever art. I have bees here giving me strawberries.
ReplyDeleteWe do have to keep those bees busy and good for you for planting some even in the rain. That should make them happy. Cute mural!
ReplyDeleteGreat. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeletecool,picture,first is great!! ew
ReplyDeleteWell I've heard the bees are in trouble world-wide and that means that we are all in trouble. Let's hope this situation can be reversed, but it will probably take some forward-looking leaders in countries other than the US as we have none of those in power at the moment.
ReplyDeleteWell, we need more fields with wildflowers, that's for sure, at least in my area.
ReplyDeletePoor bees! And poor us--we need them!
ReplyDeleteWe need bees and they are having a hard time, wherever in the world we are.
ReplyDeleteGlad the computer transition went well.
All the best Jan
Thanks for posting these pictures up! I would love to see more pictures of the street art especially when the festival for it rolls around. Some of the work should be really be made more portable. Perhaps we could invite the artists to work on storage container modules instead so that more people can enjoy their drawings!
