Paper lanterns.. and cake!



I've always enjoyed the decor in Greens & Co. in the inner city suburb of Leederville. The multitude of paper lanterns adorning the ceiling make a spectacular 'up-drop' (new word) to compliment the equally spectacular choice of cakes. I would recommend sharing.. their slices are tres generous :)   


Looking out onto Oxford Street on a busy day can be entertaining, although I'm usually too busy with above mentioned cake to notice until it's too late! I'm up and out early today to go birding with P.. if I catch a bird or two you'll see them tomorrow :) Happy Wednesday, take care and stay safe...

    Another delightful Perth eatery! I've never seen such paper lanterns but I like them a lot...very cool! So, are your comments showing up now?

    I bet those paper lanterns are Chinese. They make a great display. Love the view out of the cafe's window.

    Oh, Grace! Little Creatures had white laterns all over, too... and then you show a pic with Grill´d in it - I´m not into cake but this is "cruel", too, esp since I have to go to the dentist today and who knows when I can eat again ;-)

    That is a lot of paper lanterns! I used to have one as a teenager in my room, they were very popular at that time :)
