Above reflections of the city caught in the windows of the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre ballroom and below reflections of the Exhibition Centre and South Perth foreshore. Looks like we're in for a wet weekend here in Perth which is good.. also I've decided to make the momentous, for me, move up to Windows 10 which could be bad, it could get a wee bit tense around here as I'm not good with change, hoping for a smooth transition :) Happy weekend, take care and stay safe... P.s. are you are with Windows 10 and was it an easy switch?
Excellent reflections! I hope the transition goes smoothly.
ReplyDeleteWhat awesome reflections, especially the second one. I upgraded to Windows 10 two years ago; it was an easy transition and I've never looked back. Hope yours goes well.
ReplyDeleteMac for me so good luck!
ReplyDeleteThings could be better, Grace. Thanks.
Great reflections. I love the second one, well done Grace. I upgraded almost 2 yrs ago and have just the usual problems everyone has with a computer. Nothing big but it was good to get the free upgrade. Good luck with yours.:)
ReplyDeleteReflections are easy to enjoy, but changes in internet reprograms are not!
ReplyDeleteDon't switch until you have to!
ReplyDeleteWhen I replaced my laptop with a new Dell Windows 10 machine a few months back I was trepidacious. But I quickly learned how to do all my normal stuff and have not been disturbed or flummoxed by Win10 at all. Signed into Chrome and I was back in my normal work/fun place. I like my speedy new box! Some find stuff to be annoyed about, but that's too much bandwidth I'd personally rather spend surfing and visiting and creating :)
ReplyDeleteI'm a Mac user so no windows switching here. Enjoy your rain. I wish it was going to rain here!
ReplyDeletePretty reflections Grace!
ReplyDeleteLife in a reflection is beautiful!
ReplyDelete...man, look at all those windows to wash.
ReplyDeleteMost convention center seem to have a lot of glass.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on
Windows 10 is not such a dramatic change as some steps up have been. I am now happy with it and it is more reliable.
ReplyDeleteNice reflections Grace. Enjoy the wet weekend. Good luck with the conversion. I upgraded when it was still free, but I'm still navigating my way around ...some things I find more difficult.
ReplyDeleteYes, those modern buildings, great for reflections!
ReplyDeleteLove reflections and I regret the move to 10. Nigel is still on 7 and his life is much easier than mine! Wet here as well Diane
ReplyDeleteAmazing reflection. Nice clicks.
ReplyDeleteThese are super reflections; especially in that 2nd photo. Wish we were having a wet weekend. It's like a tinderbox around here! I no longer use Windows, but rather Mac so can't help you with Windows 10, but I think you'll do fine. Perfect caption on this post!
ReplyDeleteI always love your reflection shots, Grace.
ReplyDeleteGreat reflections, Grace!
ReplyDeleteI´m a dinosaur, still Windows 7. Good luck!
Scenic reflections -especially in the 2nd scene. As for Windows 10, I have learnt to adapt, but prefer Windows 7 for ease of navigating Word documents. I really don't like the installed icons that appear at Start Up in Windows 10. I find they are useless and irritating.
ReplyDeleteLove your new profile photo!
ReplyDeleteOh what a beautiful scene of the city in reflection! Wonderful day out it must have been.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your comment on the poem! It's great to know there are people like you in this world!

ReplyDeleteWindows 10 is a snap. It's sort of like Win 7 but better, faster and more secure. I use Mac for my personal stuff and Win 10 at work. No worries, as you might say.
ReplyDeleteLovely reflections Grace ...
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
While the pictures on the window units are really quite gorgeous, I personally would prefer other solutions when it comes to walling up a building. So much glass means a greenhouse effect and it's expensive to boot! I would think that everyone in the building melt in the heat unless they've got good air-conditioning in there!!
