White hot in the city..

In the city for my final 'after eye surgery' check up on Friday.. got an A+ :) It was another in a long stretch of over 40C in Perth, 42C to be precise, the city was white hot, heated to full incandescence, the only thing to do was eat gelato and add colour.. looking forward to tomorrow, it's going down to a cool 38C :) Have a fab weekend, keep cool, keep warm, stay sane but most of all be safe..

  2. Yay to your eye-check, Grace, as well (sorry) the temps! I would embrace them.
We freeze our but#s off, even had a bit snow yesterday.

  8. Glad the eye is okay! Warmth looks nice to me as we have been having overnight temps in the -20˚C range or worse. It hasn't been fun plus we got over 50cm of snow this past Monday.

You're lucky for living in such temperatures!
Enjoy it and also your gelato.

  10. OMG. I don't think I have ever experienced such a temperature. It's 32 here in Costa Rica at the moment and that's plenty for me. Stay indoors.

  23. Wonderful news about your eye Grace. It's been a bit too hot to venture outdoors, I just go from home to work and back home!

  24. I like your two photos, especially the top one. I don't know Centigrade heat numbers but I take your word, it must be super hot in Perth. Here in California it is about 65 (delightful) and sunny, of course that is in Fahrenheit numbers.
