It was a fabulously rainy day in the city yesterday and although black brollies were in the majority, especially on St Georges Terrace, here on Murray Street colour and pattern prevailed. It's not often I get the opportunity to take umbrella shots so I made the most of it.. might be more tomorrow 😉 Happy Friday, take care and stay safe.. P.s. The sturdy Bunnings brolly, bottom left, next to its super flowery companion made me smile, the poppies were pretty too :)
...after all of our spring rains, we could use a bit!
ReplyDeleteWet and disagreeable!
ReplyDeleteI have an umbrella, but haven't used it in years. I just put on a baseball cap and tuck anything in my backpack that could get wet into a cloth back I keep inside. That usually does the trick.
How you'd love it here in England!
ReplyDeleteI must be the only person who goes hiking with an umbrella in my rucksack - I simply hate wearing waterproof clothes unless it's going to rain all day.
I'm one of the few who still uses an umbrella unless I'm out in the woods when it rains.
ReplyDeleteI do like that pink mustang in your header.
That's a great assortment of brollies! It's so rare that we see them around here. Glad you are enjoying the rain.
ReplyDeleteI often use a brollie if I have to run errands and use a baseball hat if I am running in and out of the car! I find rain depressing.
ReplyDeleteI’m wondering when the snow will start. Lol.
ReplyDeleteBrollies are seen everywhere here in all colours. :) I love your new winter header.
ReplyDeleteYou see the beauty and pleasure in all days. That's just one thing that makes you such a great friend That's just one thing that makes you such a great friend,G
ReplyDeleteinteresting observation about coloured brollies in one area and black in another.
ReplyDeleteI can recall umbrellas only being a solid color.

Ohhh, and a "Gurri"-brolly! Invent beaming, someone, I´d be right there!
Thank you, I will enjoy the header as long as it´s there!
The new header is lovely Grace. I prefer colourful umbrellas, would certainly love to have a poppy one too.
ReplyDeleteOh dear that doesn't look good all that water. But at least nice for photos!
