'Where it is familiar becomes new'..

When the sun goes down and the lights come on something familiar during the day can take on a completely different appearance. Such is the case with the Elizabeth Quay Ferry Jetty, seen a few nights ago above and many times during the day below. Through the day spots reflected onto the sections from the top cover give the appearance of a pattern of holes whereas at night the fluro lighting highlights the solid sections in the glow from the water.. pretty cool huh 😉 Happy Thursday, take care and stay safe..

  7. There are some really clever things being done with lighting now and with the advent of LED lighting, so cheap to install and run.

  12. The covers go with the scenery and kind of remind me of the sea - very clever.

Just to go back and miss the big one by a blocked view. Not our lucky day ;-)
