Weekend reflections...

It seems to me that whenever I think I have a head start on the rest of Perth, they're always one step ahead of me :) Sunday past my sister and I set off bright and early to explore the winter Perth Upmarkets held in the grounds of UWA (University of Western Australia). The reflection pool in front of Winthrop Hall was the perfect foil to capture the many that arrived before us :)

There's something altogether appealing about eating hot spicy food early on a chilly, crisp winters morning don't you think? If I remember correctly the temperature when I took these shots was around 14C.. proper jacket and scarf weather! Bon weekend, take care and stay safe... p.s. after an eight week official campaign it's Federal Election day, think it's going to be a close one!

  2. Love the great reflection from that pond. I will bet the architect put the pond there just so you could photograph this fine image.

  5. That first shot is especially good...not are the reflections beautiful, but the colors are so rich, and the photo is so sharp and it's wonderfully composed!

Re your question on Ocala: Yes, that's an alligator head on the wall. But that one doesn't bite. :)
