Little bit rusty.....!

You have to wonder sometimes what it is that makes the artistic mind tick..Garden Week has just finished here in Perth and it's always fun to see what new weird and wonderful things you can find for the garden. My sister fell in love with these rustic and rusty garden ornaments, I do like the flower, not sure about the rusty balls though, and would you pay $130 for a holey butterfly?
I didn't have any luck winning the vintage bike in the last competition I entered, so cross fingers for me..maybe this one will be mine! If I win it I'll definitely get Aimee to take a shot of me wobbling along on it, the 'little bit rusty' applies here also :) Hope you have a really good weekend, take care and stay safe....

  1. They are pretty unique Grace! I like the first flower but I wouldn't dream of paying anything close to that for "garden art" See how cheap I am? I hope you win the bike - she's a beauty. Enjoy your weekend too.

  2. A local nursery has a full-sized hebel carving of a sheep but $400 for a sheep that won't actually trim the grass is a bit much, no matter how attractive. Not sure I like the rust-ic look that much!

  4. Just as well you did not win the bike. You would have to ride it then.

  5. I enjoy looking at the rustic and rusty garden ornaments but spending money on them is not something I like. :P Hope you win the pretty bicycle.

  7. Our Nissan Patrol LWB in 1999 (bought (and sadly - but certainly) sold again) in Perth) had a rusty-brown color. Love the color hence, heaps (you can "hide" in so many places with a car like that!) - 130 bucks, though? Must be love then and then it´s ok :-)

Fingers and toes crossed for you winning the bike, Grace!

  15. I had to laugh at your title here, Grace. Wasn't sure what adventure you were taking us on today :). But now I know that it is down the garden path to look at very clever artwork. Impressed. You have a good weekend too!

  19. Oh, I got confused again. I think that happened on a previous visit long ago. Daily photos from your Perth, not my Perth. Hello from quite near old Perth, in Perthshire. Some lovely photos here.
